We moved to Fare IE based on it's somewhat isolated location (yet close enough to town to easily ride to the grocery store) and great snorkeling right in front of the tent cabin. This type of lodging may not be for everyone but for me and my wife this was perfect. French Polynesia tends to be very expensive and this was no question the best value I could find. The very large tent sits on a wood deck so it is very solid. The bed was reasonably comfortable and there was hot water.... More

This was recommended by the Lonely Planet as the most favorite of the authors on Huahine! And I have to say it was one of the most loved accommodation options for me in French Polynesia. Instead of coffee, I'd slip on my snorkeling gear and plunge in the crystal water! Amazing snorkeling right off the deck! Now the safari tents... More

From the time the very friendly Fabrice picked us up at the airport ,to the time he dropped us off to leave with our special "parting gifts", the Fare Ie experience was extremely enjoyable.
