We had a premium overwater bungalow with half board. We had an incredible time! The property was a little older but well maintained. The service was excellent. The individual care and attention was outstanding. The restaurant was also very good. The variety was a bit limited at the breakfast buffet but still good. We loved the people and the place... more

Te Tiare was fabulous! My husband and I spent 5 nights here after spending 6 nights at the Pearl on Moorea. Huahine is very different from Moorea in a very good way. It's a much quieter island that moves at a much slower place. It was a wonderful decision to go here after all the activity of Moorea. We were... more

We would love to go back. We read some of the mixed reviews after booking our honeymoon here, and we had the time of our lives with no major issues. (We saved a lot of money by booking our entire trip through Costco's Travel Department). We were a bit unusual, because we stayed here a week and didn't stay on... more

2nd trip to PF, 1st to Huahine. When we were shown to our room it was a garden, not the beach we had reserved. They accidentally put another couple in our room. We waited in the bar by the pool while they moved the other couple. Except they forgot to come & tell us when the room was empty so... more

When we were planning our honeymoon, we asked our travel agent (Lisa Corso @ Tahiti Legends) for an island off the beaten path. We were definitely going to visit Moorea and Bora Bora, and she suggested Huahine. So, to start of with, we knew that we were not going to a massive ‘resort island.’ There are only 2 resorts remaining... more

My wife and I went here for honeymoon and loved it! This hotel is nicely secluded, although a short boat ride to town. I have visited the Carribean many times but would not have chosen one of those hotels over this one. Unlike the Carribean, we were not herded into a large hotel that is impersonable. The hotel staff was... more

The location is attractive apart from the ever-present local mosquitoes . Colorful fish are a plenty to watch from the rather pleasant restaurant . But those guys just cheated us on the reservation we made :they deliberately ignored the type of faré we had reserved (deep water , full ocean view , etc.) and paid for , and they parked... more

Beautiful isolated hotel. The rooms are huge but outdated. It is a great hotel to stay four or five days. The service is very good and the food was the best one in FP. The shuttle connects you with the town each hour. But, having said this, we must say that this hotel is absolutely overpriced. We paid 770$ per... more

My wife and I spent 4 nights at Te Tiare in October 2007 after first traveling to New Zealand for 7 days, Papeete for 4 days and cruising on the Paul Gauguin for 11 days. The stay at Te Tiare was the highlight of our trip. If you are looking for the ultimate location for a romantic and/or relaxing vacation,... more

Dollar to satisfaction, Te Teira was the worst hotel experience my wife and I have ever had. On our two week honeymoon in FP, which also took us to the Sofitel in Moorea and the St. Regis in Bora Bora, we purposefully chose to book a few nights at Te Tiare to experience an "un-Westernized" version of FP. Huahine seemed... more
