The problems started when they forgot to pick me up from the airport and stranded me there for almost an hour. Two phone calls were required for the driver to finally show up. From the airport there’s a 10 minute cab ride to arrive at the main town which is really a nothing, and then they pick you up for... More

We chose to spend a few days in Huahine because we thought it would be quieter and more authentically French Polynesian than Moorea and Bora Bora. We were right and we were not disappointed. We stayed in a bungalow over the deep water and it was everything I imagined - and more. It is a small resort -only about 12-14... More

We LOVED this quiet, very intimate secluded private island in Tahiti. We left Papeete at 10am- 15 minute flight... then a very nice gentleman picked us up in a cab and took us to a Dock where we had a boat awaiting us - the boat was the "Royal Huahine" private transportation to and from the hotel to the Town.... Wonderful stay there. Much better than Moorea - less people, better preserve nature. Beautiful place, very good meal, friendly staff, free transport to Fare.... Just one surprise - paid wi-fi, I have never seen this before.

Real nice resort, friendly staff but the prices for food are outrageous. 25$ pr/person usd for the cheap breakfast of cereal and fruit. Bring your own food or a heavy wallet lol. We went on to eating off resort. Worth checking out though.

Ia Orana Thank you for taking time to write your review on trip advisor. But I am surprised by your remark about the breakfast, because it is well supplied with fresh fruit as mango, papaya, watermelon, grapefruit, passion fruit, banana, local jams as pineapple, guava, papaya, grapefruit and home made marmelade, ham and cheese, pastries, toast, cake, pancakes, eggs, cereals,... What a shame!!! The Island was beautiful but this Hotel is a dump!!! I have never had such bad food anywhere it was that bad what there was of it, even worse that we gone half board, none of the food was fresh all frozen, even the fish which was bad under cooked and smelt off, The limited staff say... Terrible service, same menu every lunch/ dinner, mostly tuna based, but they had no tuna! Shrimp salad, with 3 frozen shrimps! Stale bread warmed up? Mosquitoes everywhere, as the plug ins were not working. You can only get there by their boat, last scheduled return 3.30 pm, after that you have to call, for the boat to come and pick... More

The location is spectacular, nice bungalows and lousy service, but the staff are so poorly managed. It really feels that they are left to their own devices to do the best they can. Our overwater bungalow had dirty floors and lots of mozzies. The electric mosquito killer did not function, that is during the wettest month and massive epidemics of... More

We went for a week to this place. They have a great geography but lack of service and very poor attentions. Specially the man in the front desk, he is rude, and always had a problem when asking for solutions. They lied when taking away the buffet for breakfast, sayings that since there were few guests they disnt need to.... More

We stayed at this resort in 2013 when it was called Te Tiarre and in 2014 as the Royal Huahine - so obviously we went back! One of the best hidden secrets in Tahiti. Huahine lives up to it's name of being the authentic island and the hotel is no exception. If you want to get away from it all... More
