my partner and I recently went to Raiatea for a friends 60th birthday party, we spent 5 nights on a catamaran, which i recommend highly. but then spent 2 nights at the Raiatea Lodge Hotel and had a wonderful time. living on a boat is nice but to have clean sheets, unlimited hot water, air conditioning and ice cubes was... A group of us stayed at Raiatea Lodge before our sailing trip. This hotel is adorable - cute, clean, great service. The pier across the street is a great place for snorkeling - but it's so clear you can see all the fish from the pier. We had several meals here and all the food was great. They have bikes... More

Every once in a while one experiences a hotel that blows you away. The Raiatea Lodge Hotel is such a place. Our family arrived at 9:30AM and was booked in three rooms for one night. The hostess, Ka'Ullani endeavored to learn all six of our names and called us by our first names the entire time we were there. Never... More

The manager is exceptional and this place is beautiful! The food is exceptional, beautifully platted and prepared. The pool is so refreshing and the garden is so relaxing. Right across the street is their pier for boating, kayaking or just jumping in ans swimming and snorkeling! Would come back and stay a day or a week. They also have a... More

We stayed here two nights t the beginning and end of our sailing trip. The swimming out front is great, kayaks available to go to the moto. The service is outstanding, staff were quick to meet our every need. Our French is not fluent, staff do speak English. We had meals here and they were also very good. The setting... More

I spent two days here prior to a sailing trip. This small boutique hotel on the western side of the island has views of Tahaa and Bora Bora and is a nice change of pace from some of the older properties on the island. The rooms are large, clean, and well appointed (the flowers on arrival are a nice touch).... More

Raiatea is a wonderful place to visit and the Lodge is a charming, boutique style hotel. We stayed for two nights in a downstairs, two bedroom suite. It was very spacious with AC in the bedrooms, lovely decor and clean bathroom. Maybe a little noisy in the mornings as you can hear the people in the room above. We did... More

4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 23, 2014

We traveled there in July 2014 and we were very happy with the place. There are not a lot of nice hotels on Raiatea, other than 2 very expensive resorts. This one was medium priced and I thought the value was great. The room and bathroom were new and modern. Initially I was afraid that the rooms were too close... More

We took a break from sailing and stopped by for dinner. The place is beautiful for pre-drinks, contemplating the sunset over Bora Bora whilst having a deliciuos coctail or piña colada. The food however is a bit disappointing, because I found it a bit pretencious for what you expect to receive and actually receive. Though it is good, the menu... More

We only stayed at Raiatea Lodge Hotel for one night, but we really enjoyed our stay. The owners are very friendly and make you feel welcome, as if it were their home. They were kind enough to arrange a last-minute river kayak tour for us. The place looks like a big colonial house, but with an open and pretty hall.... More
