Corrine and Phillipe are the factors that set Fare Vaihere apart from so many similar other places. Not that what they offer is in any way diminished, but they are just such exceptional hosts that you can't feel anything but privileged by staying there. The bungalows are clean, comfortable and completely adequate, the setting, both the garden and the beach... More

What a great spot! Our stand-alone cabin was a comfortable size, brightly decorated, and clean. The meals we had there were excellent, including local fish and fruit. Having the kayaks, bikes, snorkel gear and WiFi included in the price added to the excellent value. The location on Moorea was an excellent quiet base to explore from. Phillipe and Corinne were... We were supposed to stay here for 2 nights and were looking forward to it after reading all the reviews . However our flight got cancelled and we had to stay in LA for two nights till we could get on next flight . As a consequence we cancelled 3 days prior to our booking . The owners were not... More

What can be added to previous glowing reviews? My husband and I stayed for 4 nights and it was heavenly. There was no need to eat anywhere else though you have that option if you want. Snorkelling at the end of the jetty revealed many colourful fish and there was a beach just 100 m away if you wanted to... More

Our stay at Fare Vaihere was amazing. The reviews do not do the inn or the hosts complete justice. Philippe and Corinne are incredible caring, thoughtful and professional hosts. They are attentive to their guests needs and are more than willing to make recommendations on activities, dining and coordinate your stay on Moorea. The Fare Vaihere is in a perfect... More

Fare Vaihere is located in one of the most beautiful areas of the island on Opunohu Bay. We stayed in the waterfront bungalow which was decorated with flowers, very clean and peaceful. Philippe is an excellent and professional host. He prepared a gourmet dinner for us, which was the best dinner we had on the island! The breakfasts were delicious... More

My nephew and I recently returned from a 3-night stay at Fare Vaihere. What a lucky find! We were fortunate enough to get the waterfront bungalow which was comfortable and just steps away from the water. Our host, Philippe, was extremely helpful in making suggestions and arranging transportation. He is also an excellent chef so do yourself a favor and... More

The great strengths of Fare Vaihere are its charming owners, it's location and its great value (by comparison with other Tahiti choices). Phillipe and Corinne go out of their way to please, and you do do as much or as little as you like with no pressure or time constraints. So, if you want, you can just sit by the... More

My husband and I stayed here for a couple of nights before we started a cruise through French Polynesia. this was a great way to start a vacation. Philippe and Corinne has created a comfortable, exotic and beautiful oasis. The meals were fantastic...both Philippe and Corinne are superb chefs. I suggested that Corinne publish a cookbook because she uses the... More

Me and my husband spent our first third of our honeymoon in Moorea, at Fare Vaihere. It was a perfect decision to "diversify" our French Polynesian trip with a 3 nights stay by Corinne and Phillippe (and not to forget Pao Pao). I do not want to repeat all the advices again, it is a perfect place if you have... More

Ia orana Gabor, Thank you for the time you took to write the review. Thank you very much for the rating you gave, even if you were disappointed with some aspects of you stay. For the bungalows, we allocate them according to the date of booking. You were the last to book for this period (if someone asks for our... More
