Linareva has so much potential with the best location possible if you want snorkling and a small beach. The location and snorkling was amazing. The use of the free kayaks and paddling out to the reef was a special experience. Linareva is in a quiet area of the island. We enjoyed being the only ones out snorkling in the area.... More

I was tempted to rate this a 4 because the internet is terrible, but I can't. Gorgeous property. Lovely houses. Big dock onto the water. Small beach. Comfy room. Good AC, which saved me in the outrageous humidity. Basic kitchen was adequate, but no extras--no coffee, tea, salt, pepper, oils, etc. Boil water to drink or buy bottled. Good bikes,... More

We wanted to stay at a more" island authentic" lodging. Boy did we find it and much, much more. The staff are great. Roland is so sweet, very friendly and funny. Upon arrival, the receptionist gave us a tour of the grounds. We chose to have breakfast and dinner on the grounds. We were not disappointed. The food was delicious... More

We visited here in 2006 and it was perfect. Miles away from anywhere and with great views. The staff were very helpful and the bungalows fairly basic, but well set up and with seating outside. The kayaks for the sea were very welcome, as was the floating restaurant (not sure if this is sill there though). You really need a... More

The place was by far one of the best stays on the island. The receptionist was very helpful and a little corky! We were greeted my a native local who made us a delicious yummy island cocktail. The room was great and we had a/c. The best views, scuba diving, kayaking, and swimming area. You literally can swim with the... More

I stayed one night in January 2015, but wish it could have more. I was alone for a day enroute to film festival in Tahiti and wanted a quick trip to Moorea to snorkel. Linareva was just the ticket. The setting is jaw-dropping gorgeous, room very comfortable and pleasantly furnished including nice kitchen. The snorkeling and swimming were sublime- right... More

We booked the honeymoon cottage, which is a separate ocean-front fare surrounded by flowers and fruit trees. It has a canopy bed and a single bed where we set our suitcases. There is a fully furnished kitchenette with a half size fridge, cooktop, microwave, coffeemaker and kettle, and toaster. All the cookware and dishes are furnished as well. We love... More

We stayed here for a week in March of 2014. It's beautiful, and our cabin was right on the beach. But if you stay here, it's best to have a car, because it's very isolated. There's only 1 restaurant nearby (pizza), so you need to either bring groceries, have a car, or eat the Linareva's meals, which are very expensive.

We stayed at Linareva for 2 weeks and had a great time. It really was a home away from home. A laid back place that also allowed us to cook ourselves which we love to do with local (and French!) ingredients. Very relaxing with our two little kids. The free kayaks were appreciated and well used - if you do... More

Our family of four stayed at a beachfront bungalow (right by the pier) for 4 nights in September. The best feature was the spacious rooms, nice sandy beach, great snorkeling off the pier, and beautiful views. We rented a car for the days we were in Moorea. This was really necessary. Without a car, it would be difficult to go... More
