Stayed here back in July 2001 on my honeymoon for a few nights. The accommodation is outstandingly good; really cute, characterful individual bungalows with separate kitchen, large balcony area and sliding doors to the shower so you can shower almost al fresco. It's very simple accomodation, but beautifully done - very chic. I really couldn't fault it. Only downside is that it's in the middle of nowhere. Oh no, hang on, it's right by the airport. But... they're very small planes, they don't land at night and you're on the beach all day so you don't really notice, apart from the odd one waking you up after a heavy night!
It's five minutes or so walk to the only public beach on the island, Temae, which is beautiful and butts up to the Sofitel, so you can wander up there and pretend to be posh while having a drink at the bar.
The only real downside is that there's only one local shop (150 metres away) which doesn't have an outstanding choice of food so you're either...
