We stayed here for two nights while visiting Denali. The rooms had very thin walls, and you could hear everything. The bathrooms made you not want to sit down. Due to unforseen circumstances, we were forced to cancel a reservation at the Lazy J Lodge. The hotel charges 50% of the total for the stay at the time the reservation is booked. We were charged $100 for a small cabin the size of a one car garage. Someone had puked in the sink of the community bathroom and this never got cleaned up during our stay. If there was a Top Ten for lousy hotels, this place would make the list. more

We stayed one night at the Lazy J and I can safely say we will never stay there again. The noise level in the hall and the room was intolerable. We ate in the Lazy J restaurant several times last summer. Large portions of incredibly delicious homemade food. We live in Ohio, but will eat here again, the next time we visit Alaska. more
