This lodge is the only place between Cantwell and Glenallen on the Denali Highway, but it was a jewel of a find. The couple that runs it are wonderful. They also do ATV tours to look at wildlife. We had a blast. Parked at Paxson Lodge, paid a small fee for plug in parking so the trucks started on return. Rode to Alpine, great stay, nice place, nice rooms, good food and good company. Since moving to Anchorage from the lower 48 in June 09 our family has visited/stayed and played at Alpine Creek Lodge Many times.
