This may the friendliest place in our entire trip!! email contact clear/meals served by lovely people/convenience of transfer from Orange Walk arranged to suit us/amazing snorkeling and opportunities for much more from the island/idyllic setting/ Write to Jesse and tell her what you need!! Other than no hot water...this is the place for those of us who are not looking... More

Nice basic rooms, food service a little wonky. We were told that dinner would be ready at six, but it was on the table and getting cold ten minutes early. Food very basic, but what do you expect for such low prices. Otherwise good value for the money.

They lied. There is NO HOT or WARM water! I have health issues and need both. No running water 80% of the time! No sanitation is possible. Showers ice cold and miserable. I felt I was in hell, I'm on my honeymoon crying on night 2! You are eating food from unsanitized hands and dishes! Brochure says: "cozy restaurant serving... More

The Lodge is well-managed with clean rooms. All water on island is collected in rain barrels, so during dry season it may be necessary to limit usage of showers. There is no hot water, but a generator runs at night to keep lights on and to run fans when necessary. Each cabin has a hammock on the porch with a... More

A simple place with a smattering of well kept, clean cottages at water's edge. Our balcony extended over the water, with a perfect view of the open ocean and sunset. A perfect place to unplug and unwind, enjoy the snorkling, and an island you can traverse in half an hour. The meals are plentiful and good, with fresh fruits and... More

Stayed here for the second time, three nights. Came back deliberately to Tobacco caye. Some of the more critical reviews seem to have suffered from wrong expectations. This is not a "resort". Just take a look at Google Earth, before you go there ! This is a very small island with only a handful lodgings catering to the lower /... More

The staff were very friendly and informative. We were greeted at the wharf by Charlene. She also waved us off. Nice touch. The food was ok. Bring some snacks if you want something to munch on in between, however, there is a kiosk there but a bit more expensive. Also a bar. The outside of the cabins are nice, however,... More

The Lodge itself was ok. You get what you pay for. Rooms were basic, and definitely need updating. We had ants crawling over one of the two beds in our room. Food was ok but limited. The staff there were friendly and helpful. I actually timed how long they took to clean a room after a big group of people... More

The rooms badly need updating: the bathroom fixtures were at least 40 years old and the shower door stopped sliding years ago. The food was okay, but we had to go to a separate restaurant a couple of times to keep from going hungry.
