You can't go wrong if you are a single male traveler on a tight budget. The Morazan does need a face lift, and a deep cleaning. Everytime Im passing through San Jose, I stay at the Morazan. San Jose is not really the kind of city you want to stay in more than one night, but if you want to explore the city, the Morazan is a great location. Stayed here Super Bowl weekend. Good location 1 block from Avenida Central and Parque Morzan. Paid $41 a night for a basic single room. Cable Tv, A/C and room safe (extra $6 a day for safe key). Although the carpets seemed to be fairly new and the bathrooms looked like they had been recently refurbished the Hotel looked very worn.... more
