The best of Hotel Capital is that it is situated in San Jose downtown, just one street away from the National Bank (Banco Nacional) where you can find good rates for money exchange, there's around shops, farmacies, restaurants, etc. very handy indeed. The previous review is right. The owner is friendly and kind and helps you with the tourist information for free. He keep your luggage for free for a couple of days. BUT!.... I have to mention Hotel Capital is plenty of cockroach. The really awful smell in the rooms made me sick and I had to go out like crazy... more

I enjoy the stay in the hotel, bernardo Escobar the owner is so friendly and kind, he help us with all the tourist information for free, he explained us how to travel budget, about securuity, reccommendations about how to travel by bus, he keeps our luggage by free as well as our values. more
