My daughter and I took advantage of Adventure Inn's incredibly helpful staff and website to plan our first visit to Costa Rica. Because our plan was to spend the week on the Caribbean side and not take organized tours, we stayed just 2 nights here on each side of our trip. Adventure Inn is very close to the airport so... My husband and i stayed at the adventure inn our first and last night in costa rica, so we had 2 different rooms. the first room was right near the pool and close to the restaurant. There were 2 queen beds with an adjoining bathroom and both were very clean. There was a safe in the room for an additional... More

I stayed here while on route to the airport. It was arranged in conjunction with Gecko. The whole travel experience was efficient and seemless. Staying there was good: good food, pool, bus drop-off, taxi, check-in, check-out. All was fast, friendly, and easy.

We only stayed here overnight on our way from the airport to another destination, but I'm glad we picked this hotel. The rooms are huge and clean. The service is very friendly. Great value! Also a free airport transportation voucher.

We stayed at Adventure Inn on the way in and out of San Jose. Both times we found the staff very friendly, and the restaurant food tasty. The free breakfast was quite beyond our expectation. It had the usual continental breakfast, plus a whole menu to order from. The rooms were very clean, both times. The rooms are spacious and... More

Everyone at Adventure Inn was incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel is well located for airport access so we use it the day we fly in/out of the country. We have also stayed for extended visits. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast is included and it's really good. Order what you want, not just a fruit assortment. In room... More

This hotel was clean and they have free wireless and also free computers to use. The pool is nice, and the restaurant isn't bad. Our problem with this hotel was the noise at night. We stayed there for two nights. The first night we were in the back of the hotel which we thought would be good in terms of... More

Because Adventure Inn is earthquake proof, it is made of poured concrete, and finished in the traditional Latin American motif of ceramic tile floors, a combination that allows noise to carry a bit, though not terribly so. However, because of this review, we are currently looking into the noise issue and are going to be having a meeting with our... More

We arrived here a couple of days early after floods prevented us from going to where we'd planned to be. The staff were very friendly and helped us book a last-minute tour (which was excellent) as well as get the right buses into and out of San Jose. The bus stop was a 2 minute walk from the hotel, and... More

We really did not enjoy our stay here. There are a few pros, but far too many con's. The rooms are big, nice pool, the complimentary computer/internet access is great, and the hotel shuttle is handy. The reservation process was quick & easy, and I appreciated the travel information sent to us by the owner. We were in a room... More

I am happy to hear these guests appreciated the large rooms, the new solar-heated pool and Jacuzzi, the free WiFi internet on one of four guest computers, the easy reservation and check-in process, the travel advice and the free airport taxi shuttle. They were given one of the bright rooms facing the front of the hotel and guarded parking lot,... More

Recently I had the need for a good hotel in San Jose. As I have stayed in San Jose on many occasions, I am fairly familiar with the hotels in the area. My son who was with me, said he had stayed with a friend at the Adventure Inn and was impressed with not only the room, but the food,... More
