This hotel is part of a large sports complex for the locals, serving as a place for out-of-town atheletes to stay when participating in tournaments and such. There's nothing fancy about the accomodations, but rooms are clean and offer aircondtioning and hot water at $45/dbl per night. I stayed there during a tennis tournament I was in the rooms were small but had everything you need. The people were very friendly and helpfull. The prices are great if you are coming to see attractions or just want to stay at the club I highly reccommend it!!!!! more

We stayed two nights at the CR Tennis Club, the staff was friendly and the room was clean. Very basic hotel, the hallways and rooms were very plain. The pool was nice and the breakfast okay. There was free wireless down by the restaurant. more

As many of my Tico family members belong to this club, I've been going to the Tennis Club for years. The hotel offers the visitor excellenct swimming facilites (one with swimup bar), tennis courts, bowling alley, basketball courts and restaurants with nice views of the mountains surrounding San Jose.
