We stayed at Kekoldi for one night when we first arrived in San Jose. It was a good jumping off point for us. I don't know if the neighborhood is safe or not, but the front desk has to buzz you in...so the door is locked at all times. We walked about 10 minutes to a local restaurant for dinner.... more
