We were only here for one night and I barely saw it in the day light, but first impressions - light and airy, lots of plants everywhere, cute little bridge and walkways between rooms, rooms and bathrooms perfectly adequate, friendly staff. I expected it to be noisy all night long and it was. If your room didn't face out onto... More

Great location and friendly staff. Stayed here twice as start and finish point for a tour. Hotel is close to city Centre. Rooms are nothing special but are clean and tidy if a bit dated in decor. Staff are wonderful and friendly.

Dear Client, Thank you very much for your nice comments we are glad you liked it. I will forward your kind words to our staff Our hotel is made out of 4 colonial mansions which we connected by opening their gardens. The houses are build around the 1930, with the construction material of choice at that time wood and brick... More

Really my title says it all. San Jose is not the most inspiring of cities but it is a gateway. This place really does its job well and I would happily return. While not inspiring it is entirely practical a good base for seeing the limited sites of the city and the fantastic country.

I stay for one night in this hotel as part of a tour. The service is very frendly, the room are clean and large enough for two people. In 5-7 minutes you can walk to the walking street of San Jose with shopping, restaurants and bars.

This hotel is bigger than you think, but still it's friendly and gives you a good and warm feeling. It has a nice small garden inside the hotel. Service is good. We even got a bigger room (for the small price) when our room was not ready when we arrived. That room (for three persons) had a large bathroom (with... More

Dear Client, Thank you for your nice comments we are pleased that you liked our hotel and the whole warm welcome we try to maintain. During the period of your stay we had excessive traffic passing by this because of a reconstruction on one of the main entry roads of San Jose, the Paseo de los damas. We try on... More

Room was clean. Everything in room was very outdated. Sheets on bed were very thin and scratchy against my skin. Everything was very basic. TV did not work. Clientele were all young people. Glad I was only here overnight. I would have been unhappy if I had to stay here longer. You get what you pay for.

Stayed here as part of a Tucan travel tour of Central America. It's a nice little hotel. Location is nice- a short walk to the centre of San Jose (not that there is much to do in San Jose!). Our room was lovely, big and very clean. The layout of the hotel is hilarious- it's like a maze! You may... More

Dear Client, Thank you very much for your nice comments we are glad you had a great time with us. The maze as you say is the product of the old mansions we have connected to make our hotel as it is right now, the stairs the different rooms and the green areas. This is a reasonable hotel for a short stay and just a short walk from the city centre. The place looks tiny at first but there is actually quite a lot of bedroom accommodation. Dear guest, Thank you for your nice comments we are pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stays with us.
