This is an older property, but they are definately keeping it up. It was really nice. I only wish they kept the hot tubs open later. The staff is very attentive; we used this hotel as a base camp and would keep returning after several days on a rafting trip or other excursions; the staff kept our main luggage; and was always very helpful. We stayed in Gran de Oro Hotel in the room right next door to construction. We were not notified in advance about the construction nor was our room rate reduced due to being inconvenienced by the noise. Outside of the construction, the hotel was very nice. I would recommend this hotel but would avoid room #26. more
