The hotel was very nice, they had a spa, bar and restaurant and everything was clean. The Rooms were quite spacious too. Though walking around at night (even at times during the day) didn't always feel safe in San Jose, the hotel hat security at the door at all times which was nice and locked the gates where you parked....

Good news: Very nice rooms , great service and family oriented.
Bad news: The bar/ restaurant on the walking promenade has been closed for good to be replaced by a cell phone store. The bar and restaurant are now part of the lobby and though adequate leave something to be desired.

We spent a week at the Hotel Preidente. It is small but very special. Located right on the central avenue pedestrian boulevard. Hotel is upgrading the rooms with wi-fi. They were able to put a router in our room because we have IPads. The staff is friendly and always willing to help.
