We stayed in Villas Tranquilas as a group of 5 friends. The house was amazing: new, clean and very easy to spend the day and night in due to its terrace and balcony. We liked it there so much and decided to extend our stay for one more night. We also cooked one night as the kitchen was fully equipped... More

We stayed a the villa tranquilas for 2 months. Until the last 2 weeks the pool had been a wonderful place to spend the heat of the day. Then there was a change in help and things began to slack off.The pool was cleaned much later in the a.m.So the bugs ect. that come with the night were still waiting... More

This place has a few things going for it: good value for 2 bedrooms and a common area/kitchen; friendly native staff, nice but small pools; reasonable wifi We were disappointed with many other issues: -out of the way--you cannot walk anywhere. must get in your car to go out to eat, shop, beach etc. -impossible to find in the dark!... Went here for daughters destination wedding. did three tours; zip line, mangrove boat tour, and catamiran. The zip line was most fun but somewhat stenuous, the mangrove tour was relaxing and informative; and the catamaran was my favorite since I loved snorkeling, and being out in the ocean. Also did body surfing at playa escondida and playa dominical. the water... More

We wish we could have stayed longer. We stayed in #3 and loved the location. What a HUGE villa. Two huge bedrooms with very comfortable beds. One had a balcony. Large large bathroom. Fully airconditioned in the upstairs sleeping area. Huge kitchen, very modern and beautiful. Kitchen supplies were great. The pool was very large and had lots of comfy... More

I went to Villas Tranquilas in June with a friend. It was my fourth time to Costa Rica and my friend had never been to Latin America before. She was really nervous about the food, water, and her safety. Villas Tranquilas totally put her at ease. As soon as she walked through the door we were both totally able to... More

We are staying at Villas Tranquilas with our 6 daughters, ages 6 - 16. The Villas are beautifully and practically appointed with plenty of space for our family. The girls live in the pool during the heat of the day. The managers, Dan and Dina are friendly and helpful. The maid staff is excellent. We love that it's off the... More

The villa is situated about 10 min. ride away from center of Quepos. It was about 2000 colones to take a taxi. The villa is surrounded by greenery and there is really nothing else in the immediate area. The roads are not even finished yet so it's a bumpy ride to get there. The villa has a full kitchen with... We stayed at Villas tranquillas for a week. Some of the condos have not been sold yet and for the first couple of days we had the whole place for ourselves. Penny , the owner of 2 units was extremely helpfull with information about the town and stores. I talked to her on the phone, she lives in San Diego.... More

Villas Tranquilas is an excelent place from the first moment you contact Penny, we mailed each other several times to coordinate and everything was perfect. Once there Dan and Dina's attention is the best, the place has everything you need and it is close to Manuel Antonio one of the best costarican beaches. Villas Tranquilas equals Pura vida!
