This Eco-friendly lodge is in the middle of the rainforest but the food and service puts a 5 star hotel to shame. The owners and staff are accommodating, generous, and work to make your stay perfect. With a waterfall, river, and hot springs on site, this is the way to see the authentic beauty of Costa Rica.

I will start with-The pictures on the website do not do this place any justice!!! My son's school had the pleasure of staying at the Hot Springs Lodge. While there weren't enough rooms for the parent's to stay on site, we were able to visit, have a BBQ and enjoy the amenities during his stay. The hospitality, food and accommodations... More

The adventure at Hot Springs Lodge continued for our family as we explored all new sites and activities from rappelling down 100 foot water falls to riding the Superman zip-line to building rock damns and pools in the crystal-clear water of the river on-site. Relaxing on the grounds and eating fresh, healthy delicious food consistently added to our complete and... More

The drive up the mountain to the exotic retreat location should have been my first clue that this was no ordinary experience. The scenery is breathtaking. The hike to the hot springs exhilarating. The food is amazing. Scott and Zap are extremely hospitable and met every need (coffee at 5PM? No problem!). Mornings are gorgeous. Afternoon rain showers bring out... More

I am not sure that I can write a better review than what has already been written, but I can vouch that I booked our vacation based on what I had read, and I was not disappointed - our trip was absolutely amazing!! Scott, Dianne, and Zap made our stay such a wonderful experience. We felt as if we were... More

Scott and "Zap" were awesome! I have never felt more welcome at a resort/lodge then I did when I arrived at Hot Springs Lodge! We only spent the day there but it was great and a very full day. Zap took us on a hike to the hot springs. I will let you know that if you are not a... More

There really are no words to describe this absolutely incredible place! My husband and I stayed for three nights recently and were treated outstandingly. The setting is amazing with lush, tropical surroundings, an incredible lulling river and the most beautiful birds. The rooms in the back are a definite must! Because it is a lodge they are small but the... More

Our family of four (kids in high school and college) spent five days before Christmas at the Hot Springs Lodge in Quepos. It's in a beautiful spot in the mountains, about a 30 minute drive from the beach. The lodge is simple, spare, and clean, and it's designed in a way that makes you feel close to the natural surroundings,... More

This is a great "off the grid" lodge in the middle of nowhere yet close to civilization! We only spent one night here but already, I'd like to go back to take full advantage of the pristine natural surroundings. Scott, the owner, is a wonderful host who clearly takes pride in his establishment. The rooms are really cute, clean and... More

3 adults spent a day reconnecting with nature at the Hot Springs Lodge. Diane & Scott were very accommodating in setting up our day trip...best part we had the hot springs to ourselves. We went horseback/hiking the 45min trek to the springs and spent a few hours in the hot mineral waters and the cool rushing river. Scott was very... More
