I stayed here for 4 nights. Every morning I would get my complementary breakfast, it was great! The dorm style room was very comfortable, plenty of fans, it was clean. Central Backpackers is very affordable, dorm style rooms starting at 12$ a night and private rooms at 35$ and 45$. If you want to stay in Quepos, and visit Manuel... More

Me and my wife stayed here one night and planned on getting a hostel closer to Manuel Antonio, but after one night we ended up staying 3 nights. The owner was super helpful and nice. We were greeted with cold drinks and he put fans right in front of us and insisted we sit down and rest. He also includes... More

We stayed there for 3 nights in 8 bed dorm, but there were also some private rooms with couples and families (each night our room was half empty so it wasn't crowded). The hostel from outside doesn't look very good and might be hard to find, it's a 3 story building, the hostel is on the top floor. Beds looked... More

If you're looking to stay in Quepos on a budget, then I'd recommend this hostel. My biggest issue with the hostel was actually finding it, though that was my fault entirely. The hostel is fairy small,I was staying in an 8 bed dorm. The room was big enough for the 8 beds,I didn't have any issue feeling cramped or anything... More

I only spent one night at Central Backpackers but would stay there again. What made it extra special was the dedicated service of Mauricio to ensure my stay there was extra comfortable. The rooms are very adequate and clean. The location is noisy during the day because it is on the bus route to Manuel Antonio but as the day... More

We had a short stay at the central backpackers hostel, however we would highly recommend it! It was in a perfect location (right before the winding road to Manuel Antonio) Service was great. We had a fan in our room so our sleep was comfortable! Got to choose when we wanted breakfast as well. Great little hostel and the best... More

We stayed there for 2 nights, and it was a really nice place in Quepos to stay. It's not far from the city center, and just next to a bus stop to go to manuel Antonio national park! The place is owned by a nice family, and u kind of feel like home really quickly. Mauricio is there for u,... More

Stayed at Central Backpackers for almost a week and would have stayed longer. Great location close to town center and on the road and bus route to Manuel Antonio NP. The beds were comfortable, the rooms and bathroom clean and the prices cheap. Breakfast and dinner were available at very cheap prices and was the best food we had in... More

The owners are clearly very friendly. Unfortunately that is the only thing positive I can find. The private was damp, extremely loud (very busy road in front +some door that has a big opening beneath), toilet problems, doors that didn't work (sometimes we couldn'tclose it, other times we couldn't open it), rooms that would get dirty from the ceiling, no...
