The owner Mauricio will make you feel like a king. He is a trained chef and his food is yummy, just tell him what you want for lunch/ dinner and he will make it. Yummy breakfast is included in the price of the room. He also carried our luggage to the room, made coffee whenever we asked for it and... More

If you do not need an A/C in your room and are on a budget you cannot go wrong with Central Backpackers and it's host Mauricio. Private rooms comes with fans and are simple but clean. The complimentary breakfast changes every day (we had fruits, eggs & pancakes) and provided a good start for the day. Also make sure you... More

The Hostel is nice and has fair prices, but what makes it Special is the great food that the owner is cooking for you. He is a professional cook and you will notice from the taste. He made for each of us a whole grilled fish (freshly caught by his dad, a local fisherman) with mashed potato, salad and even... More

Hostel doesn't look amazing from outside but it's close to the bus station and everything in quepos is within walking distance. Main attraction is the host. Friendly guy, makes a good breakfast at any time you want, and make sure to ask him to make you dinner one night. Great plentiful dinner that will be cheaper than going out. The... More

Excellent location right next to the INVU which is absolutely the most beautiful little neighborhood we have ever seen. The bus stop to/from Manuel Antonio is right out front. Building is airy and comfortable. Lots of lil restaurants and shops around. Ten minute walk to the big bus station. Mauricio is very helpful and a pleasure to chat with, makes... More

The owner, Mauricio was incredibly hospitable from our arrival. The free breakfast and $4 dinner are delicious and Mauricio will go out of his way to make you feel at home. We paid $12 per person per night night which seemed a little steep considering there was no air conditioning, but I guess that is the typical price for this... More

I stayed here for 4 nights. Every morning I would get my complementary breakfast, it was great! The dorm style room was very comfortable, plenty of fans, it was clean. Central Backpackers is very affordable, dorm style rooms starting at 12$ a night and private rooms at 35$ and 45$. If you want to stay in Quepos, and visit Manuel... More
