Stepping through the door, we were greeted by a lush, beautifully landscaped tropical garden. The rooms were well appointed with simple, clean lines and colorful artwork. We had coffee every morning and cocktails every evening on our small private balcony. The rooms are located on a major street, however, making noise a bit of an issue. Quepos is a busy... More

Love this place!! We stayed for 4 days in one of the superior rooms near the pool which was very quiet. We actually arrived late the first day due to travel issues, but Mike was very understanding and accommodating. The room was immaculate and very clean with the perfect amount of space. Mike & Paul are wonderful people that will... More

Thanks for the kind words guys, we really enjoyed meeting and having you stay with us. One of the advantages being a small property with just 5 rooms is that we sometimes get to make new friends such as yourselves. Both looking forward to seeing you guys again and being a part of your vacation experience the next time you... More

Coyaba Tropical B&B was a wonderful place to stay. The location is great. The breakfast was delicious and my room was immaculate and comfortable. The B&B itself is incredibly cute and has a nice pool. The atmosphere there was very friendly and we ended up hanging out with the other guests as well as the owners, Mike and Paul. Regarding... Coyaba was a very important part our trip to Costa Rica, as we stayed with Paul and Mike for over a week. We were in the back of the property in a newly renovated room, so there was no noise from the road. We had central air and were steps away form the pool. Very nice indeed. I did work... More

Coyaba is a great destination. Mike and Paul are excellent hosts and were a lot of fun. The grounds are impeccably maintained and our room was always cleaned when we returned from time away. Out of all of the restaurants we ate in during out stay in Costa Rica, we enjoyed breakfast time the most at Coyaba. Paul is an... More

We stayed in one of the two new rooms that they have just added and room and bathroom were lovely and comfortable. Mike and Paul were excellent hosts, always very helpful and setting just the right atmospheric tone. My girlfriend and I also loved the breakfasts, Paul is an excellent cook. The B&B is right on the road, but so... More

My wife and I just stayed there for 3 days and 2 nights in an upstairs room for 4 people. Nice size room, with comfortable bed and a private balcony. Breakfast was included and prepared fresh while we waited. The place had just reopened after some renovations and was very nice. There's a pool and Jacuzzi but no hot water... More

Had an absolutely incredible stay at Coyaba a few weeks ago with a group of friends. Mike and Paul were excellent hosts. Even before arriving, Mike was very prompt in answering any of my questions and concerns via email. He also arranged for private transportation to and from the airport with an excellent driver named Henry. We had arranged most... More

My wife and I spent three days there in May, 2014 and found the place to be terrific. Mike and Paul couldn't be nicer hosts and the accommodations were very comfortable. Breakfast was great and healthy. We had been in Costa Rica for a couple of weeks already when we arrived and were looking for a place to kick back... More

I had come to Costa Rica on a "dental tourism" visit, and arrived at Coyaba by myself the day after oral surgery in San Jose to recover for a week before stitches could be removed. Fun, right? Loaded with pain killers and antibiotics, the surgeon had restricted my activity level - no zip lining, etc., for me! So, I needed... More
