We enjoyed a delightful stay with Michael and Paul as our hosts, and Marlon assisting us with reservations and tour information. Our room was comfortable and spacious. Breakfast entrees (banana pancakes; egg, cheese and veggie sandwiches; typical rice and beans with eggs and plantains) were delicious and always came with plenty of fresh fruit, juice and coffee. We loved the... More

Costa Rica just got better for us. Second year there and my wife booked us a week here. We felt at home the minute we met Mike and Paul. What a fantastic place to be. So very relaxing. The room was great, the pool area was ideal and the hospitality was excellent! After just a few days it was like... More

This being our first trip to Costa Rica we weren't sure what to expect; but we were quite happy when we arrived at Coyaba Tropical. Mike and Paul are two of the nicest people and we enjoyed going out to dinner with them. The pool area is beautiful with the "jungle" directly behind it and it's where Paul's breakfasts were... My husband & I stayed here in the early part of November 2015 for 4 nights and felt very at home. Mike & Paul are very nice people who want to help you explore the area and enjoy your time in CR in any way they can. Mike actually walked us down to a trail that leads to a waterfall... More

We stayed 3 nights at La Coyaba Tropical and had a great experience. Mike, Paul, and Marlon were very accommodating and great hosts. The breakfasts were amazing every morning. The entire area is just relaxing and a great place to spend your vacation. We saw macaws (and heard them...) frequently and had a batch of squirrel monkeys playing in the... More

This place doesn't have a sea view but you can Maco parrots all the time. We stayed here for four nights. There is a small but nice pool with a garden around it very nice to relax at the afternoons. The room is clean and comfy. Different breakfast is served every morning. Really cute place.

My husband and I and friends stayed at this pristine, lush, and welcoming b&b. Every aspect of our visit was perfect. The room was well appointed with a private terrace to share time with our friends. Paul's breakfasts are a different delight each day. Marlon's intuitive service made us feel welcome and very special. Mike's assistance with booking trips, destination... More

Mom and I stayed at the Coyaba Tropical Bed and Breakfast before we headed back to San Jose. This place is spectacular. Paul and Mike makes you feel like family. My mother loved the clean room and the really nice furnishing. Paul's homemade multi grain bread was excellent. A really first class experience.

We had a great 2 night stay at Coyaba Tropical in one of the 2 newer poolside suites. Wish it had been longer... but... gives us a reason to come back again. The property is very clean and private. Grounds are well maintained with a great private pool area. The outdoor kitchen in the courtyard patio is truly unique and... More
