I recently spent a weekend in Quepos/Manuel Antonio Costa Rica staying at the Coyaba Tropical B&B.The facility was very clean with great hosts, Mike, Paul and Marlon. Each morning, Paul would cook a different cuisine breakfast, all very scrumptious. They were very helpful in suggesting places to go and even invited me to accompany them to a few gatherings. As... Bottom line: beautiful, clean, a tropical oasis, great breakfasts, great hosts. I am very picky when it comes to hotels (especially cleanliness) and I guarantee this place will not disappoint! We spent 8 days in Costa Rica, touring around La Fortuna, Santa Elena, Tamarindo, and Manuel Antonio. We stayed in 4 different lodgings, and Coyaba was hands down the best!... More

"Arrive as a guest, leave as a friend" absolutely describes Coyaba Tropical. Mike and Paul are amazing hosts and have turned Coyaba into a B&B as it should be.The property is absolutely gorgeous with very comfortable rooms, but most of all with a great outdoor area with an amazing swimming pool surrounded by tropical trees (monkeys and parrots included). With... More

The 3 nights we stayed in Coyaba Tropical were a very memorable part of the 2 weeks we spent in Costa Rica. The owners, Mike and Paul, put a lot of effort into running it. They are very friendly, approachable, available and above all helpful. They organised trips to Manuel Antonio park and a segway tour in Quepos for us... More

Outstanding! We had such a beautiful relaxing time at Coyaba! Mike and Paul were super nice and very accommodating! The breakfast was just the perfect way to start out the morning! Homemade everything! The parrots in the trees and flying over just topped it off!

Beautiful oasis with gracious hosts a delicious breakfast and Mackaws flying overhead. Easy bus or taxi to the beach, park, wild life, restaurants and markets. Mike helped coordinate activities: surfing and kayaking.

Stepping through the door, we were greeted by a lush, beautifully landscaped tropical garden. The rooms were well appointed with simple, clean lines and colorful artwork. We had coffee every morning and cocktails every evening on our small private balcony. The rooms are located on a major street, however, making noise a bit of an issue. Quepos is a busy... More

Love this place!! We stayed for 4 days in one of the superior rooms near the pool which was very quiet. We actually arrived late the first day due to travel issues, but Mike was very understanding and accommodating. The room was immaculate and very clean with the perfect amount of space. Mike & Paul are wonderful people that will... More

Thanks for the kind words guys, we really enjoyed meeting and having you stay with us. Coyaba Tropical B&B was a wonderful place to stay. The location is great. The breakfast was delicious and my room was immaculate and comfortable. The B&B itself is incredibly cute and has a nice pool. The atmosphere there was very friendly and we ended up hanging out with the other guests as well as the owners, Mike and Paul. Regarding... Coyaba was a very important part our trip to Costa Rica, as we stayed with Paul and Mike for over a week. We were in the back of the property in a newly renovated room, so there was no noise from the road. We had central air and were steps away form the pool. Very nice indeed. I did work... More
