Spent a week at Coyaba Tropical and it was a perfect vacation. Breakfast each morning was absolutely fantastic, the room was spacious and comfortable, the property is gorgeous, and the personalized attention rivals any 5 star resort. Mike and Paul are phenomenal hosts and anything we wanted to do while in Quepos was handled for us, and each recommendation was... More

I highly recommend this B&B. Our first night we got terribly lost on our way (the GPS our Costa Rican friends lent us for our road trip didn't work) so we had to wing it. We ended up arriving quite late and Mike & Paul were so kind about it despite having to wait for us through dinner. The room... More

We were given one of the rooms that are literally on top of the street. The noise was so loud at night that I couldn't sleep even with earplugs in.my ears. When I mentioned it to the owner, he suggested that I go get earplugs from the drugstore. When I told him I was already wearing earplugs and that they... More

I stayed at Coyaba Tropical last week and I am glad I did. The personalized attention made the difference when you compare to other places. The room where I stayed was clean, with plenty of space and nice. Breakfast every morning was different, delicious. Paul does a great job! Both Mike and Paul were very attentive of my needs and... Overall, this is a tasteful place to stay. Mike and Paul were inviting and well organized. We enjoyed their dogs and the open, "rancho" style outdoor living area. The rooms were nicely decorated--we stayed in the first two. The lower one (closest to the street) with one queen bed was well-designed and comfortable--definitely my favorite out of the two rooms.... More

Hello again Bill thanks for taking time to write comments about your recent stay with us. We take pride in giving our guests personal attention, by being on-site and available for when you need something. Not everyone uses a wash-cloth or bar soap which is why we don't put these in our rooms, however both items were provided for your... More

I visited Coyaba Tropical the last week in February with my friends Shane and Wayne. This was our first trip to Costa Rica. Last year we we went to a large all inclusive 5 star resort in Mexico and decided that the impersonal sameness of the place was not what we wanted. We looked for a small friendly B&B .... More

My partner and I stayed at Coyaba Tropical in March 2012 and had an absolutely delightful stay. Our room was very comfortable and well appointed. The breakfast each morning was delicious. And Mike and Paul were great hosts. Coyaba Tropical is close to great restaurants and bars, as well as a very quick trip to the beach. We would most... More

We loved spending time in Manuel Antonio and the highlight of our stay was having met Mike and Paul. Their cozy place is welcoming and all the guests we've met are friendly. Next time we're in town, we will be coming back. More

I cannot begin to describe how wonderful our stay was at Coyaba Tropical was. From the moment we buzzed the door and stepped in the gate we felt like this was someplace special. My partner and I have traveled a lot and stayed at many bed and breakfasts but this was something that we are still talking about. Mike and... More
