We booked the Rancho #1 for two nights, but had a very bad experience. The room itself looks good, also the balcony has a nice view at the Bay/Bahia and pier of Jimenez. But in the evening, we were confronted with a big cockroach in the sink of the bathroom and killed it, of course. And somewhat later that same... More

Hi, I am sorry to hear that you had a bad experience. Personally, the very next morning, I resolved the problem. Also, I was not renting out to newcomer's, the next morning. They were my friends. I hope that you enjoyed the " free " room. More

I can't say enough about the Cabinez Jimenez staff. We had booked a terrible guide online (who trip advisor had said was wonderful) and he turned out to be so bad we were afraid to go into the jungle with him. It was 100% NOT the responsibility of the Cabines Jimenez staff yet they called about 15 guides the night... More

Wish we could have stayed longer. John the owner and staff were friendly and extremely helpful both before and during our stay. This is an organized and well run little hotel that pays attention to detail. It was spotlessly clean . Kayaks and bikes were a plus. Even helped me set up a fishing trip with a local guide. Wall... We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The staff are very friendly and helpful. Our room, right on the bay, had a great view with a lanai and was very roomy. Appears that the owners are constantly making improvements.

We stayed at Cabinas Jimenez for three nights. We initally planned to stay shorter but extended our time there as we enjoyed both the hotel and the town very much. We stayed in room no 2 which comes with a nice privat balcony facing the water.the room itself was very clean, including an a/c and a fridge. The room also... More

You can get a better location right beside Puerto Jimenez. We stayed there before and after our Corcovado hike and the staff treated us like gold. The gave us a free upgrade the night before the hike and told us everything we needed to know about the area. With free kayaks and bikes to explore, they have all bases covered.... More

We came for two nights, one before and one after the corcovado trek. the staff was very nice. On the second night my wife got sick and they made her a coconut&lemon juice so she can feel better. We got upgraded in the room though we didnt ask. They have kayaks free of charge for guests and the pools is... More

One of the best places to stay in CR, everything that the other resorts have at an amazing price. Loads of wildlife and a pool overlooking the bay + free bikes which we found very handy for popping into town. Even better I left my keys behind and the owner posted my keys half way across the world to manchester!... More

We live as tourists in Panama and make a border hop every three months. Puerto Jimenez has beautiful beaches and a few scrumptious restaurants, and after having tried other places to stay, Cabinas Jimenez has become our place of choice. We love the ocean front views, the prestine swimming pool, the comfy beds (and A/C!), the thoughtful decor, beautifully tiled... More

Totally forgot to write a review of my stay in that lovely place, but anyway: In my opinion the best spot in that small town to hang out. John (the american owner of this place) and his staff are very friendly and helpful. Especially the dolphine tour was awesome. Even the booked time was already over, John continued looking for... Thank you for your kind review of Cabinas Jimenez and that you enjoyed your stay. I am also glad to hear that you liked my boat tour, looking for dolphins and the free use of the Bikes and Kayaks. Hope to see you again, John More
