we stayed for 7 nights end of January 2016 and enjoyed our stay. Hotel was clean, the room we had, had a beautiful view, right on the bay, was beautifully decorated (loved the wood carved doors) . A/C worked as did the Wi-Fi which my teenage kids appreciated. The pool was small and quite warm (probably hard to avoid with... More

I am a little late in reviewing. We stayed 2 nights at Cabinas Jimenez in the beginning of January. We are a family of 6 adults and we stayed in the Bungalow. The room has a king bed and two double beds. I did not realize, when booking, that the double beds were actually, bunk beds on one side of... More

We rented this nice Cabina because it had a fully equipped Kitchenette. It was perfect AND right on the beach. The staff are helpful with suggestions about where to eat and what you can do in the area. We had the most congenial Taxi/ Transport driver from Trogon Lodge to Puerto Jimenez- Andi Stark. Cabinas Jimenez often uses his services... More

Stayed here for two nights prior to our Corcovado hike, this little cabina complex is in a great spot on the edge of town, you can use the free bikes to cycle around or as we did, take a kayak out in to the Golfo Dulce to explore the mangroves and shoreline along the coast. Didn't use the pool as... More

We stayed here for one night on our way from Carate to Dominical. I would not recommend it and am sure there are much more welcoming places. The man at the front desk was rude. Not friendly, welcoming or helpful at all. I actually walked away from a conversation with him because I refuse to be spoken to in such... More

Hi, I was troubled about your review and what had happened. The man, who was working at the front desk, does not work for me, any longer. I have replaced the safe, the fridge... was not plugged it, and the toilet is now, unclogged. My staff and I do our best to make people feel weclomed and are very helpful.... More

We had a poolside room that was clean, roomy and had comfortable beds. Free kayaks and bicycles was an awesome surprise. Tom, who was working the front desk when we arrived, was the most valuable piece of our stay. The man is a veritable encyclopedia on Costa Rica and what it has to offer. Stay here and make sure you... More

Very helpful staff. Helped me with local phone calls. Nice location on the water. Casual, pretty clean, well priced. Poolside rooms were nice. On the down side, staff sent me off in a kayak without a life preserver, which I saw others had been given. Bathroom was stocked inconsistently from one day to another, slow draining shower. It wasn't 5... More

Nothing fancy... but this little place has everything you (should) need. I stayed in room#10, which like the 'resort' was cute, cozy and clean...with a nice little gulf-view veranda and a sense of privacy (very important to me) despite being connected to other cabinas. The staff here is top-notch (shout-out to Ann) laid back, yet attentive. Perfect for a (fairly)... More

This is no Ritz Carlton...but that's what makes it special! Very rustic, simple rooms but the ocean view outside your room is spectacular! Cute pool. Lots of nature surrounds you. Macaws everywhere! Free kayak use. If you want to bring your own wine (my suggestion), bring a wine opener! Enjoy your stay!
