I feel compelled to write a review of Bosque becuase I relied so heavily on the TripAdvisor website in scheduling this vacation. I traveled to Bosque with my wife and two children ages 12 and 8. At the end of our stay we were asked to fill out a crituque like form. I believe the categories ranged from poor to... more

I'm reposting our review of BdC (you can't edit your posts on TripAdvisor). Our last post entitled 'This Aint No Honeymoon' was long winded and sounded as if we had a terrible time. This was not the case, as we enjoyed the animals and some of the people we met very much including the 6 other couples that were w/... more

We spent 5 days at BdC with our best friends and their family. There were 10 of us in all (about a third of the guests at the lodge during our stay). We arrived Monday June 15th and enjoyed the bumpy 45 minute ride from Puerto Jimenez in 2 Land Cruisers. One of our guests spoke fluent Spanish and several... more

Well, I hardly know where to start. We love BdC. We were actually there the same time as Fescue. They were a delightful couple who certainly seemed to be enjoying BdC as well as the rest of the guests. This was another return visit for us and we will be back. We did not see Kim this trip, but we... more

We are sorry the last reviewers had such a terrible time at Bosque. My husband and I just read the last review entitled 'Not a Honeymoon' and were astounded that these people even came to the Osa. What were they thinking? They were bored after 5 nights...did they expect nightly entertainment? Of course, if they are comparing it to Miami,... more

Bosque del Cabo is a perfect way to experience the truly gorgeous country of Costa Rica! The 700+ acres of primary forest are lined with trails, which never failed to produce animal sightings - we saw troops of monkeys daily (Howler, Spider & Capichin), pizotes, various frogs, birds (including toucans & scarlet macaws), lizards & land crabs to name just... more

I read the reviews about Bosque AFTER my return home because I did not want to be too repititous about this incredible place. My family and I had never traveled to Costa Rica before, and you must make the Osa peninsula a part of your trip. This eco lodge is truly special, from the breathtaking views to the unbelievable hiking... more

This is a wonderful resort to stay at. My wife and I went down there to see wildlife and relax. We ended up seeing everything we hoped to as far as wildlife goes. Our cabina, Congo, had the most amazing view one could hope for. Sitting on our deck overlooking the ocean with monkeys and scarlet macaws right there was... more

Make sure you get a massage in the jungle, very nice and so relaxing No T.V., no phone, no computer and no radio....The perfect set up to focus on the... more

What can I say? You have probably read it all. Philip was an incredible knowledgeable tour guide. The food is incredible. The wildflife phenomenal. We had a great time hiking. I recommend timing the Pacific trail far enough from high tide that you can make it to the waterfal. It is beautiful, but the tide does come in quick and... more
