We visited Villas de Oros in may this year. Two adults and three kids ( 4,7 and 9 years). We had a really great time here! All kinds of animals are right next to your room. We have seen monkeys, Ara's, Toukan's, sloth's, it was really amazing. Our kids totally enjoyed our stay there. The owner Vicky, gave us a... More

Villas de Oros, tucked in between the rain forest and the Pacific, is a wonderful get away for those who want to relax surrounded by nature. The room was perfect, the outdoor kitchenette just right for breakfast or the night's dinner. We were able to take amazing pictures of birds right from our balcony as well as sloths and howler... Gorgeous surroundings, macaws and toucans in trees, monkeys swinging from the branches. Nice pool. Room 2 was small with poor lighting and no air conditioning which made it uncomfortable with the heat and humidity. No TV and wifi worked only occasionally! Kitchen has a hot plate, pots and pans and place settings, and a small fridge. This place is a... More

Thank you for your review! We are glad you had a good time at the villas. You were in Geckos, which does not have AC but the good news, we are Adding AC units to those villas that don't currently have units in them. Currently we do have AC in 2 of our villas, Toucans and Delfines. We also have... More

Villas de Oros was a wonderful Costa Rican experience. Vikki, the owner, was very helpful in suggesting and arranging tours in the area. We toured the mangroves and watched wildlife on the Siepre river and snorkeled off Isla Cano. The balcony of our room (Ranas) was like a tree house and each day, Toucans and white-faced monkeys paid visits. We... More

Villas de oros was just great! I was the last to arrive from our group of friends to Costa Rica and took a shuttle out to the hotel. It was easy to find with the sign off the side of the road and a short walk up the driveway. When I arrived my friends were at the beach and I... More

Loved our view off of our deck, we stayed in the Dolphin Villa (has air in the bedroom, an inside kitchen with a refrigerator, toaster oven, stove top, toaster, coffee maker and sink) . We sat in our Adirondack rocking chairs looking at the spectacular views of the jungle, the river just below and in the near... More

Just a few kilometers south of Uvita near Ojochal is a hidden gem known as Villas de Oro's! It is so nice and tucked away that all you can see from the road is their sign, but once you get up the driveway you will stumble upon a small slice of jungle paradise. This little boutique hotel has seven private... More

We would sit on our back porch in the mornings and evenings and watch monkeys and parrots and toucans and lizards oh my! Really a very special place and convenient (by car) to the beautiful beaches of the Parque Nacional Marino Ballena. The room was very nice, and we made good use of the refrigerator and coffee pot on the... More
