I had no idea where I was going when I got to costa rica and am so glad I chose to come here. I had a tent with proper bedding, electricity, a hammock, and clean towels folded into swans. It sat right at the ocean, with amazing sunrises and sunsets, shells like I had never seen before, 3 meals a... More

We spent 3 nights in Corcovado Lodge Tent Camp last week. The situation is really great and nature is fabulous. The activities were brilliant too and the guide was perfect. Local people working in the camp are really nice. However, the service could be improved : 2 hours waiting fort the transfer from Sierpe to the camp, cleaning service in... More

I loved this place. It had every thing you think of when you envision your honeymoon. I loved falling asleep to the ocean waves. My husband thought it was too loud, but hey if you are going to CR, bring ear plugs. There are late night Howler Monkeys, early morning birds, the list goes on. This place has great dining... More

One of the coolest places I've ever stayed. We saw monkeys, parrots, tree frogs and lizards every day. It's right on the beach and almost at the National Park. Food was fantastic and the little bar next to the pond was a cool hangout spot every night. Bring your flashlight and look for wildlife between drinks. Really want to go... More

Such an amazing place and all the locals that work here are amazing.. I have never in my life written a review but I had to write bc one person changed the whole experience. An expat named Tom I believe is the rudest person and should not be allowed to deal with customers or be in the service industry. If... More

This is an eco-lodge, one of the better ones we have been to. This means cold showers, shared bathrooms, simple accomodations. They do it very well here and if this is your thing, you will love it here! The sound of the ocean surf while we fell asleep was one of the best parts. That and the amazing hike in... More

Corcovado Lodge Tent Camp is a special place to stay due to its incredible location, in the middle of the jungle in front of the sea getting there by foot along the beach. You have the chance of feeling the real and strong power of nature: the constant sound of the waves so close (specially at night...), the dense vegetation,...... More

As short-trip budget travelers, staying at a lodge in Carate / La Leona was a step up in price, but we were very happy with Corcovado Tent Lodge. Costa Rica Expeditions, who book Corcovado Lodge, offer charter service from San Jose (as part of your overall package), but if you fly into Puerto Jimenez on your own (NatureAir or Sansa)... More

We started our two week Costa Rica vacation at the Corcovado Lodge Tent Camp and it was absolutely our favorite location. The lodge has 16 tent cabnis spread out across a bluff directly above the beach. The rain forest is right behind you. We took the canopy tour and watched a three toed sloth for a couple of hours as... More
