Stayed at Lookout for 4 nights with family in January. Terry and Katya were attentive, friendly, and eager to make our experience great. All of the staff were excellent. Rafa is one of the nicest and best guides I have seen in rain forests around the world. Nice range of activities from walking in Corcovada ( if you really like... More

Our family of 14 was at the Lookout Inn for 4 nights. We all had a wonderful time. Terry and his wife Katya were wonderful hosts. They catered to the diverse interests of all in our group. Lagoon kayak or canoe trips with Katya provided an outstanding experience. She is delightfully enthusiastic and has a wonderful knowledge of birds. The... More

It was really home for myself and Laura... and Katya y Terry and their efficient, smiling and friendly crew merge in harmony with the surrounding nature and us. What a beautiful place. Terry and Katya make you feel right at home. We stayed in the Monkey House and I can't wait to go back. If you are ready to relax, this is the place for you. Walks to Shady Lane, playing on the beach, turtle rescue, monkey viewing, birds, reading, massages, and meeting for drinks at 5. The... More

My family spent a week with Terry and Katya in a little slice of heaven. I will have to agree with all the below that stated Katya and Terry made us feel like family! Staying in a wonderful and private room with half walls has to be experienced. We still miss the sound of the ocean at night, along with... More

The Lookout Inn stays true to their word, "Come as a Guest. Leave as Family". My husband and I were in Costa Rica for 2 weeks and it was the highlight of our trip. It was a home away from home (minus the cooking and cleaning). Terry, Katya, and the staff made us feel like old friends. We had an... More

The highlight of our recent two week trip to the Osa Peninsula, without a shadow of a doubt. The warm welcome starts at Puerto Jimenez airport where a Terry arranged taxi will meet you and drive you the ~40km along a gravel road, fording rivers, dodging potholes and spotting wildlife to the lodge. Apparently the road is about to be... More

Stayed here over a year ago now. Very special place with wild life galore. Great food and company. Terry, the owner, quite the character in a good way and very accommodating. Would return again in a heartbeat.

It is very near Corcovado park, but... More
