My husband and I stayed at Luna for three nights recently. The car ride from the air strip at Puerto Jimenez is part of the adventure - our driver, come wildlife guide, Dennis, was great. He knew where to avoid the potholes and where to see the monkeys and birds along the way. Definitely worth the trip. Dennis transported us... More

My wife and I spent four nights at Luna Lodge and really enjoyed the experience. We hiked with a guide to Corcovado Park, kayaked at sunrise in the lagoon with a guide and another couple, had massages, relaxed at the pool, went bird-watching with a guide at "Shady Lane" and did all the hikes around the Lodge. Everything was fabulous.... More

I just returned from the OSA, I hiked to Sirena from Carate, and on the return, I stayed at Luna Lodge, conveniently located at the hike end point. From the start, I could see that Luna Lodge is very interested in getting the details right. Our hiking guide to Sirena contacted Luna Lodge in advance, and when we arrived in... More

We spent 4 days at Luna Lodge during our recent journey to Costa Rica. This is the most remote place we've had the opportunity to visit, and definitely the most beautiful place in terms of natural beauty and ecological diversity. The property is well-maintained, the service and meals were extraordinary, and there are many opportunities for tours, bird watching, observing... More

This is one of the most wonderful places I have ever stayed (and I have stayed at many!). If you want to be close to the Corcovado National Park, this is the place to stay! The location is stunning, the staff could not be more gracious, the views are fabulous, the tour guides are remarkable, the pool is lovely, the... More

We spent 3 nights at Lana's eco-lodge. The first thing we noticed was the great hospitality here. The owner Lana and her mom do everything they can to make you feel comfortable. And that can be said from every staff member. It felt like being part of the Luna-family. After every trip a nice refreshing glass of water is served... More

Luna Lodge is simply one of the most beautiful, enriching experiences you will ever have. It is truly an experience; set deep in the rain forest, with bungalows that are perched on a mountain overlooking a gorgeous valley. I cannot adequately describe how unique Luna Lodge is. The owner, Lana, and her crew, are so welcoming, helpful, and committed to... More

The Luna Lodge is a very special place located on the Osa Peninsula in Costa Rica. Lana, the owner truly brought her dream to life, and my husband and I were lucky enough to visit her magical lodge. We recently got married and decided to honeymoon/spend Christmas at Luna because one of our friends had visited the lodge 6 years... More

Luna Lodge provides guests with a singularly unique opportunity to escape the stress and electronic assault of the modern world and revitalize their bodies and souls in a rainforest paradise resplendent with natural wonders. My wife and I have traveled extensively around the globe, but after just one visit Luna Lodge holds a special place in our hearts. We loved... More

My husband and I stayed here during our honeymoon. It was our absolute favorite place to stay in Costa Rica (and we stayed at six different places). Lana and her mother were so welcoming, as were every single one of the employees. My husband and I had many delightful conversations with the staff, who truly made the stay special. Every... More
