My son-in-law and I stayed at the Luna Lodge for 3 nights during April of 2014. It was just at the end of the dry season. The owner was wonderful. We are birders/photographers. We were met by our taxi, a 4x4 vehicle, and crossed several streams/rivers to get to the lodge. During this part of our experience the driver stopped... More

I stayed in one of the bungalows for 3 nights and it was a wonderful way to end my holiday in Costa Rica! The staff are wonderful and nothing is too much trouble. Luna Lodge attracts people from all over the world and I met some really interesting people from all over the world. I cannot rate Luna Lodge highly... More

Looked out from the deck on the first day and saw howler monkeys to one side, spider monkeys leaping from branches on the other, macaws overhead ... you truly are in the rainforest here, and it truly is out on a mission to preserve more primary forest around and bring guests into the sheer wonder of the place and its... This amazing eco-resort is well worth the slow, bumpy ride on rough roads from puerto Jimenez, however the lodge can also arrange for a Taxi to drive you if you don't have a rental care or don't have a car with 4wheel drive (which is a must for these roads). From the moment you arrive to the moment you leave... More

This is an impossible review to title because there are no words to capture the grandeur of the natural setting amidst the serenity of the Lodge and staff. This was our second trip to the Osa Peninsula, and has hooked my family for life. Once you cross the numerous rivers over the bumpiest roads in Costa Rica you arrive at... More

Luna Lodge is the most beautiful place I've ever stayed in, in the most beautiful location I've ever seen. Lana and the staff are all gracious and welcoming, the bungalows and tent cabins have amazing views, all is exactly as advertised or better. Gary, the naturalist and tour guide, is amazingly knowledgeable about local birds, animals and plants and seems... More

Simply magical... I stayed at Luna Lodge for a week and did not want to leave. The beauty of this place is just breathtaking. The most amazing views! The property has the beautiful Carate river that has several waterfalls of crystal clear water. This is a perfect place for hiking, exploring and relaxing. Yoga decks perfectly located on platforms with... More

I went first time with my Mom, but I have been back twice since then, and will undoubtedly return. This is a full service resort, yet it is also an ecolodge. The service is very fine - I understood from the owner that there is actually a waiting list to be able to work at Luna Lodge. There is a... More

The location of Luna lodge feels like the end of the world. It is incredibly peaceful and beautiful. We have been to many ecolodges and stayed at many really nice places but this one is our favorite by far. The wildlife viewing from the grounds and through available tours is incredible. Lana and her staff are so warm and welcoming,... More

After one night staying at Luna lodge you feel so different. First you feel one with the nature. The view from the lodge is special and you see Corcovado National Park. All different kind of trees. The trees are green but all different! And you see howler, ou spider, squirrel and white faced cappucin monkeys, toucans, scarlet macaws, anteaters and... More
