If you are Interested in wildlife, rainforst, beach, and being away from the normal tourist places then this is the place you have to visit!!! Carlos ( he owns and runs the place) is a very friendly person and is very knowledge about the animals; he is also a great cook and tells great stories.

If you want to see plenty of Black-mandibled Toucans, Fiery-billed Aracaris, Mealy parrots, Lineated Woodpeckers, Howler monkeys, tarantulas and geckoes and walk down a beautiful rainforested creek to the beach on the Goflo Dulce, then this is the place for you. The owner Carlos is a wonderful, friendly man who provides excellent meals, and has a great love of animals,... More

If you like to be immersed in nature, go here. The lodge is extremely comfortable, located in the jungle, lots of birds, bats, monkeys on the trail nearby. Rooms are basic and rustic but large, clean and comfortable, The meals are outstanding as is the service here.

Carlos is a wonderful host!! The place is spectacular. In the middle of the rain forest, with little cabins, hamac and a path to the beach( private beach!!!) and across the forest…. there is a lot of animals ( if you take time to find it) Carlos did a good cooking and he wants to show us every bugs and... Wow, was this spot beautiful. You're kind of in the middle of nowhere (we stopped here on the way out of Drake Bay) but if you just want to relax and hang out in a gorgeous place (in the heat!) ... amazing. Carlos was a perfect host and a fantastic cook (we had all three meals here, in the open-air... More

All around, the very best place to experience all the peninsula has to offer minus the tourism. This was by far the highlight of our stay. When we think back, this is what we remember most... drinking up the aliveness of quiet and nature. Our host was a wonderful man who spent much time crafting such a special place. Hospitality... We traveled Costa Rica for 2 weeks with our one-year old daughter and Suital was by far our favorite spot. It was poor relaxation, true rainforest experience and amazing food all at once. The cabins are simple but really comfortable, each with their own little patio with rocking chairs and a hammock. Carlos is a terrific cook and we had... More

We found this place via a travel guide and very glad we did. What a find. Huts were simply equipped but comfortable. The hikes down to the 'private' beach were challenging enough but not too difficult. And the beach was simply AMAZING!! Proper piece of private tropical paradise.

We were lucky we had to stop driving because of the heavy rainfall/darkness and ran in to this Lodge. This is a place where you can really relaxe! The cabines offers a lot of room for two, the shower is okay and the wooden interieur makes the vacationfeeling complete. With nature this close you forget about the rest of the... More

I would highly recommend Suital Lodge for anyone looking for a true rainforest experience. The cabins are uniquely designed and very comfortable. If you don't want bugs just keep your lights off after dark. We did not have a car and spent three days exploring the property which was quite strenuous. The beach is nice and we booked a panga...
