If you are looking to stay anywhere in the Osa Peninsula, then you are truly looking for an adventure. Getting here is half the adventure. Landing in Puerto Jimenez and renting a car was very easy, but you must be okay with dirt roads. Case Dos Rios is about a thirty minute drive on a dirt road with one very... More

We recently returned from our incredible trip to the Osa Peninsula, this southern area of Costa Rica is gorgeous and allows you to experience the wonders of untouched jungles and pristine beaches. We even got to spend one of our days on the owners private sailboat! The hosts, Captain Kim and his wife Melanie, along with first mate Carolyn, are... More

My family and I just spent five days at Casa Dos Rios. It was a very positive experience . The house itself is very open to the outside so that you feel nestled in the rain forest. You can hear and see the ocean at all times. We had capuchin and squirrel monkeys in the trees next to the house.... More

Casa Dos Rios is an amazing place to experience the remote jungle with a touch of luxury. Wildlife abounds among the luscious vegetation surrounding the Beach House. From waking up with the monkeys to flocks of scarlet macaws buzzing the canopy, you will expect Tarzan and Jane to join you for cocktails at sunset. The beach is so close that... More

My wife and I stayed here 6 nights while visiting the sights of the Osa Peninsula and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It is a beautiful 4 bedroom house with incredible views. The house is open and spacious, so the two of us only needed the upper floor. Kim and Melanie were perfect hosts and made our stay very pleasant. If you... More

Spent 5 days in this amazing house with my husband, 6 and 8 yo kids, and my in-laws. Melanie and Kim are just as wonderful as everyone says! Melanie was our "cruise director", and arranged for us to go on a Changing Tides tour (awesome) and arranged a great guide to take my photographer husband on a day trip to... More

Of all the 5 trips to CR this was by far the best! If it wasn't for Kim and Mell I wouldn't wright this review, I wouldn't want anyone else to know about this gem in the jungle! But the owners are the kindest and most helpful people we have ever met, so here I go. First off this is... More

We spent a week at Casa Dos Rios with two of our grandchildren, aged 5 and 11. The house was clean and roomy and right on a beautiful black sand beach. Lots of activities close by, including a day sail on Kim and Melanies sail boat. I surfed right in front of the house and two more surf spots were... More

Casa Dos Rios was even better in person than the pictures made it look on-line. The house was a work of art located in one of the most scenic places on the planet. We watched monkeys cross the yard in front of the house and Macaws roosted in the palm tree out by the beach. We loved hiking to waterfalls,... More

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Dos Rios in June 2010. The house is amazing and the hammocks are a great place to relax and stare at the Pacific, read a book, or sip a bottle of rum. The monkeys, macaws, toucans, etc. were also great company. I will definitely be back next year!
