We spent 1 week at Casacolores in the green house, which is a 1bed/1bath cottage in the woods surrounded by great birds, howler monkeys, and iguanas. The place was perfect for the two of us and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. We really enjoyed having a meal on the front porch or just relaxing in the hammock.... More

We have stayed in the green house. It was a real nice and relax place with our own cabine. A nice terrace. And slao the pool was perfect after a hot sunny day. More

My friend and I stayed at Casacolores (blue cabin) for 3 nights. The cabins are about 15mins walk downhill to central Montezuma and right next to a bus stop into town. This was the perfect base from which to see Montezuma. I've broken down the review into different areas for fairness: Staff/service: It's a family run business and - apart... More

We have just stayed in the Yellow House for 12 nights and it was just about perfect!! The houses are all individual buildings so you feel very private, and they are spaced out around the trees and gardens so you just dont feel like you are staying in a hotel or anything, more a private house!! Our cabin was spacious... More

Montezuma is a very cute town with beautiful beaches and really worth to visit! During our trip we stayed in casacolores for a whole week. We stayed in the red house and really felt like being in the middle of paradise. The little houses are surrounded by a beautiful garden, they are fully equipped with a big fridge, kitchen, wifi,... We stayed here for 2 nights Thursday & Friday Night. We loved it...the houses are equipped with Full kitchens , Hot Showers, Nice Comfy Beds, Quiet Private Houses, Large Wooden Decks with beautiful hammocks to relax in. Caterine & Roland are the gracious hosts. Their Kids are the most adorable little beach kids..On our last trip to Montezuma we stayed... More

My friend and i spent some time in montezuma recently, and it was perfection! We loved our red house in the casacolores village. The family that owns the grounds was so helpful and friendly, they drove us into cobano for groceries and provided us with everything we needed. The place is about a mile away from montezuma, and this was... More

We stayed here for three nights during our 11 days trip to Costa Rica in May and nothing was more enjoyable than to spend those last three nights in this serene paradise near Montezuma. Since we had our rented car so arriving at Casacolores was quite easy. We had the yellow one bedroom cabin which, like all other cabins around... More

Casa Colores was the perfect spot for our stay in Montezuma. There were 4 of us traveling (2 couples) and we could not have asked for better accommodations. We stayed in the violet house which has two rooms (a double bed and a twin bed in each) with a full kitchen, full bathroom and a HUGE front porch. The front... More

A very special place. We booked 5 days, extended to 8 and then to 10. The cabins are strategically located among the trees; giving each cabin total privacy and a cool temperature in the house and porch. We made most meals in our cabin, spent many days on the porch reading and writing and lounging in the pool. Didn't feel... More
