We have been to Ylang Ylang Beach Resort several times and it is an ideal place to spend our vacations. The cabanas are charming and creatively decorated with fresh flowers when we arrive. The grounds are a sweet combination of manicured, exotic plants along with wild jungle. We found all of the staff very friendly, accomodating and professional. Several activities... More

Our Accommodation (Coco Joes) was located right on the beach and, whilst a little on the small side, was clean and tidy. Housekeeping was exceptional - with fresh coffee, flowers and towels (folded in the shape of various animals) provided each day. The food was good, although service was a little on the slow side on occasions. The hotel had... More

Ylang Ylang is a piece of heaven on earth. They have the best property in Montezuma, which means a lot since it's a gorgeous place. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and overflowing with life, birds, insects, even monkeys, every different color of flower and huge green explosions of jungle. There is a fabulous trail down the beach leading to a... More

We took our two sons, ages 6 and 8, to Ylang Ylang for 3 days. It was idyllic. The kids loved the pool and the beach, we rented boogie boards one day. The food is great, and they have a kids' menu. Our bungalow, Colibri (aka Dome 5), was large, had two queen size beds, air conditioning, ceiling fan, a... More

Wow. I was impressed. The website for this hotel does not even begin to do it justice. The location is simply heavenly. The property is larger than I expected and it has a very nice restaurant with excellent food. The rate includes dinner and breakfast which is great as it's a ten minute beach walk to the town to any... More

Our stay at Ylang Ylang started with the great front desk support from Aaron who was totally gracious during the check in process and went above and beyond to make certain that I received the advertised walk-up discount which did save me money. The tent accommodations were exquisite which the sounds of the monkeys and the sea making it a... More

I cannot believe this upscale hotel, with beautiful, peaceful setting, great food, excellent service and location uses the extremely DODGY tour operator 'Cocozuma'. Ylang Ylang puts forward an image of harmony & tranquility, and lives up to it, and yet will send their guests out on tours in unreliable and unsafe boats and on bag of bones, pathetic horses with... In response to your recently posted comments, we are very happy you had such a wonderful time with us! We have impressed the importance of customer service to Cocozuma. They always go above and beyond the call of duty! It is most unfortunate that these incidents were connected to our resort name as we are unable to monitor what tour... More

Spent 5 nights here. Gorgeous location. Very relaxing. Loads of monkeys to see.Very near town, but too dark to walk in at night. Got tired of the menu for dinner: only a main course and a juice included in price. Rooms in Jungle Lodge need soundproofing and bedlinen need updating.

I took a Yoga Retreat for a one week stay at the Ylang Ylang Resort this past December. The gardens are lush and gorgeous. Rooms are beautiful, maid service has a touch of the whimsical with towels shaped into different animals, snakes, monkeys daily. The food at the Restaurant was scrumptious - we tried everything and liked it all. The... More

Everything about our stay, and our wedding itself, was above and beyond our expectations. Even before our arrival, through all of the planning stages...the Ylang Ylang family was so accomedating and helpful. Then from the moment we all started arriving, I felt like a celebrity! The whole week was perfect, the wedding was beautiful Grupo Skala (the live band) was... More
