Satyed 3 nights after getting led to this place straight off the bus by the owner. Never looked at another place because we got a room right on the second floor overlooking the ocean with a nice balcony. The owner was very nice and basically left us be. Very central location. Comfortable room with safe. hot water and wifi. Problem... More

Found this place after the owner met us off the bus. Large rooms, chose the one with two windows on 2nd floor, and having the two fans with that was fine and we wernt too hot as there is no air con. Two double beds were pretty comfy. Maid service everyday and fresh white towels. Table and chairs outside the... More

We were winging it and really lucked out. Nupa is a lovely host. Location is right on the water and rooms are basic but affordable, clean, breezy and comfortable. There are lock boxes in the rooms but they are accessed with a key, which is not as secure as a combination style lock box.

The price is low so people may like that. It costs $30, but it was dirty, and during rain the whole bathroom was flooded, there was no soap or towels, i had to go an ask for towels and toiled paper because it was so wet. It is close to the beach and cheap but it is deficient and unclean

We came to Montezuma on the boat taxi from Jaco, so we just wanted a place to crash. When we got off the boat a woman handed us a flier and walked us over to one of the closest hotels to the beach. I was sold before we saw the room (which was nice) because of the view. It is... More

This hotel is great if you want to spend money in food and knowing the area, is small place right on the beach. Is near to grocery stores and small restaurants, Isla tortuga is the best place to spend a day and get a different view of Montezuma.

This place is amazing!! Don't expect a 5 star hotel because that is not what you are getting. Very basic rooms but at great price. You shouldn't be spending much time in your room while in this beautiful country anyway. Just steps from the ocean with great views right out your front door. The owners and staff are also very... Right on the beach. Hammocks and beautiful gardens. Wild birds... one jay sat on our son"s hand and ate a piece of bread. Cabins a tad small with NO A/C. Fan was like a bomber and drowned out the peaceful ocean. However, after dark the reggae music came WAY UP next door at the nice adjoining cafe (the cafe is... More

We were perfectly happy with the cabinas, the owner and the manager were super nice and we had a nice stay. We were walk ins and there was parking late at night. There was a huge safe in the room, but enough for a backpack in case you are traveling with a laptop and a big camera but don't want... More

Stayed here on a group trip with 7people. I was in a room of three. The room overlooked the sea and was a quick walk to the beach. They did have a hot water heater for the shower. The bathroom was pretty basic and a bit smelly. The beds were just OK and the towels were old and frayed. Beware... More
