Fabulous. The rooms are simple, clean, hot water works, and best of all you are RIGHT on the beach. Our room looked out to the ocean waves and sand, past a pretty garden and hammocks. Right in downtown area, close to everything. Staff is incredibly friendly. Favourite place we stayed in Costa Rica. Just make sure you book ahead, rooms... More

We stayed one night in a clean spacious apartment adjacent to the souvenir shop and next to the town nightclub/disco. The landlady was lovely - friendly, welcoming. But - we had two young children and it was not suited to families. The disco was booming until after 0200, so we had very little sleep. The apartment had no airflow through... More

We turned up and nearly went for the easy option at the expensive ($75+) coffee shop up the road but luckily stumbled in here and found a room right on the beach with a stunning view, including sunrise and sunset. Maria, the owner was lovely and walked us through everything. At this location you are right in the middle of... More

We stayed for two nights. Very nice location, just at the beach, you can hear the waves breaking on the rocks, very nice. But, Both nights we had quite loud music from the bar next to us, until 1 am. The room was spacious and nicely decorated. Bathroom was not really clean, water was maybe warmish (not warm). Owner, really... More

As other reviews have said, this is a REAL find in the desired Costa Rica destinations. Not fancy, not for those who want "Miami Beach treatment" but those who want a true Costa Rica experience. This isn't a new and trendy place, it's been around a long time. As an U.S. expat and familiar with the country I highly recommend... More

Satyed 3 nights after getting led to this place straight off the bus by the owner. Never looked at another place because we got a room right on the second floor overlooking the ocean with a nice balcony. The owner was very nice and basically left us be. Very central location. Comfortable room with safe. hot water and wifi. Problem... More

Found this place after the owner met us off the bus. Large rooms, chose the one with two windows on 2nd floor, and having the two fans with that was fine and we wernt too hot as there is no air con. Two double beds were pretty comfy. Maid service everyday and fresh white towels. Table and chairs outside the... More

The price is low so people may like that. It costs $30, but it was dirty, and during rain the whole bathroom was flooded, there was no soap or towels, i had to go an ask for towels and toiled paper because it was so wet. It is close to the beach and cheap but it is deficient and unclean

We came to Montezuma on the boat taxi from Jaco, so we just wanted a place to crash. When we got off the boat a woman handed us a flier and walked us over to one of the closest hotels to the beach. I was sold before we saw the room (which was nice) because of the view. It is... More

This hotel is great if you want to spend money in food and knowing the area, is small place right on the beach. Is near to grocery stores and small restaurants, Isla tortuga is the best place to spend a day and get a different view of Montezuma.
