We rented one of these clean, modern and comfortable cottages for three nights. Our hosts went out of their way to help us during our stay. The main road to town was in disrepair and our car rental could not venture into town safely.( DO rent a 4 wheel drive for this area.) Our hosts made numerous jeep trips for... More

wonderful place to stay, gracious hosts. Veryquiet and away from the bus routes and street happenings, yet just minutes away by car.

We planned to stay here just for 2 nights but we ended up staying here for a week. It was just so wonderfull and fun to stay in casas colibri! The houses are really nice, clean and in a beautiful area. The owners Sarah and Michael are great people who'll take you out to town and to the nearby waterfalls... More

Casas Colibri is a new spot run by a friendly and genuine English/Costa Rican couple up on the hill above Montezuma. The casas are all immaculate and have a kitchenette too. They are set in a nice garden which is full of birdlife, away from the main road so the place is really peaceful. And the town's baker is across... More

These three small houses each consist of a bedroom, bathroom, porch and kitchen. They are run by a young couple who works very hard to accommodate their guests. The houses are comfortable, beds come with mosquito netting, and the kitchen is stocked with cookware and a fridge. The location is the only draw-back. It's not on the beach, but it's... More

Just to mention... the price of $30 a night was a special introductory and low season offer... we're afraid prices currently stand at $40 a night and will be rising as the season progresses! Also while we're writing we might also just say that the only time guests need to make their own way home is late at night. There... More

This pace is just up the hill from montezuma and is amazingly clean. The houses are made of cement instead of the usual wood. The house has a spacious bedroom with mosquito nets and big kitchen with fridge cooker, oven and microwave. The owners are super friendly and fun and will show you around montezuma and surroundings with great pleasure!... More

I highly recommend staying here if you are looking for somewhere peaceful, romantic and beautiful to just completely chill out in. The houses are all really well located and have gorgeous, lush gardens. When we were there, the lovely young owners Sarah and Michael sorted us out completely recommending lovely waterfalls and beaches to visit (all for free). Our house... More
