We stayed at M Pacific for a lovely week in rooms 9, and 5. For $30 a night we had a private balcony, air con, a fridge in our room, hot water and our room cleaned whenever we needed. There is free coffee all morning long, and a big kitchen with an oven and blender among other things. Considering the... More

We stayed for three nights at Montezuma Pacific Hotel. Carlos, our host was really friendly and welcoming. The rooms were really well equipped and simple. You had all that you needed though, a fridge, a/c, etc. Ask for a room on the balcony and that way you can see the amazing wildlife provided by one big tree right outside the... More

This is a great place to stay in montezuma. It is quite and clean and close to everything. Carlos, the owner, is a wonderful host.

I came to Costa Rica and Montezuma with a friend for the first time and we stayed at the Montezuma Pacific for 5 days! I loved that it was a block off "downtown," which made it quieter, but it was still so close to the beach. Carlos, the owner/manager was gracious and welcoming as was all the staff! They offer... Great price and it includes air conditioning, a refrigerator in your room (which has private bathrooms), a safe in the room, and some shared balconies (and one private one). And now they have wireless internet (although I don't know if it's accessible from ALL the rooms, you might have to go up on the balcony). Also, they also have free... More

My boyfriend and I arrived in Montezuma without any reservations too. After we had been walking around looking for a place to stay for a while we met a guy from Montezuma Pacific who gave us a flyer. We decided to go and give it a look and we are so glad that we did. For 35$ we could get... More

My boyfriend and I arrived in Montezuma with no reservations so after walking around, sweating with our backpacks and seeing less than ideal sleeping conditions, we were needless to say - thrilled to find Pacific Montezuma! Located a stones throw from the beach and the center of town (basically all of two streets) - we couldn't believe how lucky we... More

We arrived in Montezuma not having booked anywhere. When we turned up to Pacific, Carlos, the manager (owner too I believe?) was very kind and showed us a nice room with AC and hot water! What a deal for us who've been on a long travel with no AC! The room had 2 double beds, and no real charm or... More

I stayed at the Montezuma Pacific Hotel for several days in April. I got the place because it had A/C and wireless internet. The A/C stopped working in the first room I was put in within an hour of moving all my stuff in. The owner was a very nice man and moved me to another room where the A/C... More

We stayed 6 nights in Montezuma although we hadn't originally planned to visit the Nicoya Penninsula. It is a simple hotel very well run and clean. Our enormous room had 2 double beds, 2 bathrooms, table and chairs, air con and a fridge. What more could you want? There was a communal balcony with table, chairs and sofas. Beware of... More
