We had a wonderful time in Monteverde and truly enjoyed Los Pinos. Walking distance to restaurants and shopping. We stayed in a brand new cabin with luxurious views and a very warm and comfortable cabin.

We stayed at Los Pinos for several days in February. The 1 bedroom cabin was clean, quiet and comfortable and the kitchen was fairly-well stocked with supplies. The cabins are well-spaced out and there is a large vegetable garden that we were welcomed to harvest from. There are hiking trails on the property, too, and lots of birds and wildlife.

This place was BEYOND my wildest expectations. The property was so private that it felt like you had your own little world inside of the most insane rain forest. Wonderfully polite staff. Clean cabin. Quiet. Beautiful grounds with short hike. Family Cabin #8 was more than ample for my family of four. Kitchenette well stocked with cookware for meals at home (you know dining out every night is difficult with kids). Our Los Pinos Monte Verde stay was the high point of two weeks in Costa Rica.

This was very affordable and very comforatable for a family of 5. We stayed in cabin #4 which had 3 bedrooms each with a private bathroom with toilet, sink, shower.
