Nice wood built casita's, each with two rooms. Placed in forest area where monkeys and other wildlife travel through a couple of times per day. There is also a larger building with some more rooms. Not bad. The service in the restaurant was excellent, but the rooms were a bit musty. Sheets were clean though. However, they charged us two nights for one night. We haven't heard from them yet. more

The place is tucked away from the road, and one has to hike up to the cabins, so it is not very accessible, especially at night. It had this feel of a convent, especially in the dinning area. This place was okay. On the negative side: part of the path to our cabin was dark at night. There was a light fixture there, but no light bulb wiring (from what I could tell) and of course no light bulb! I got creative and used my cell phone as an impromptu flashlight!!! The property at the Finca Valverde was very pretty and gave the feeling of being in the rainforest. The rooms on the other hand, need some help. There was a very musty unpleasant smell throughout the room. The blankets smelled like mildew and the beds were not comfortable.
