This was my 3rd visit to Manuel Antonio, but my 1st to the Hotel Mardarina. The room was great - very attractive/tasteful, and designed with comfort in mind. And although it fronts the main road, it's amazing how the road noise virtually disappears as you approach the rooms and pool area! As others have mentioned, the breakfasts were phenominal, and... more

Wonderful little hotel on the main road in Manuel Antonio. The rooms were set way back in the forest behind the main entrance so you will hear no traffic at all. Great pool and hot tub. The breakfast area was wonderful. The main deck is very cozy and on our third day there we saw monkeys traveling in the trees.... more

I think everyone has said it very well. The place is really nice. This was another hotel arranged for me through a tour package. When I got to the hotel, Andres was on duty (and for most of my stay). He was extremely helpful, and went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable and gave me lots... more

This hotel is a very pleasant place to stay in Manuel Antonio. The two managers, Andres and Fabien, are very helpful. I stayed in a studio. It was very spacious and very comfortable. The breakfast is excellent and delightful in a forest setting with lots of visiting monkeys. Although the hotel is on the main road in Manuel Antonio, the... more

The reception office of Hotel Mandarina is located on the main road between Quepos and Manuel Antonio Park, it's kind the noisey with all the cars going by. But the parking lot , all their rooms, , pool, hot tub, game room and the beautiful deck are in the back, off the main road, it's quiet and tranquil, the room... more

Hotel Mandarina was just lovely. The breakfast by the pool, was tranquil, and monkeys climbed overhead. The room itself was bright and comfortable with AC and a spacious shower (see pic)! Location was excellent, a short ride to the beach...amidst everything! There were a few ants here and there, and the reception closed at 9 pm....which meant no internet, and... more

We thoroughly enjoyed our 6-night stay at Hotel Mandrina, We had a studio G , on the top level over looking the pool and the lush green. Andres and Fabian, the two receptionists, treated us like family, they bent over backwards to answer all of our questions and to try to make our stay as pleasant as possible. They were... more

Out of the 10 days we spent in Costa Rica our 2 days at the Mandarina Hotel were the very best by far and we wish we could have stayed longer. Not only did we love our accommodations but the 2 gentleman who worked the front office were very friendly, extremely helpful and overall superb. The breakfasts were fabulous and... more

This is a great place. It is conveniently located with many restaurants and a coffee shop within walking distance. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated. The office staff, Fabien and Andres, are there when you need them and always kind and helpful. From the back deck area we saw monkeys every night and even a few sloths. I recommend... more
