This is a great place!. I was looking for a quite place for spending out of town, The place was in a great location for knowing more about surrounding areas (best restaurants, supermarket, ATM). The hotel had parking lot and beautiful terrace with gardens About the room... it was comfortable, so clean(I love it). It included Cable TV, WiFi, Hot... More

It has potential but needs some love and reinvestment. The rooms smelled of bug spray, and the washrooms could use an update. Good location, grocery store and bank machine across the street, multiple great beaches close by. The people who worked there were all very nice and friendly. I believe there's also car security at night.

It's a nice hotel with nice rooms, located on the main road, making it easily accessible. The service is very good and the breakfast is excellent. I highly recommend it. The WiFi service in the rooms is not very good.

We stayed at the hotel for the first night when we've arrived in Costa Rica. In summary, I would like to provide the following review bullet points: Great service, good breakfast, simple but clean rooms, bathroom 'open' to the room which is not ideal if you like privacy, good location, safe parking

This hotel was perfect! Manuel Antonio is a truly amazing place in itself, but the service at the Mandarina Hotel completed the wonderful experience. A special mention for Lorina at reception who made us so welcome from the start, and helped us well beyond the call of duty to plan and book the next stages of our travel - she... More

I stayed here while leading a group of high school students in the summer and it was easily the best hotel in which we stayed during our month long excursion in Costa Rica. Alexandria and the ladies at the front desk were super helpful and accommodating. Lorena helped put fun, memorable, low-cost trips together for the kids. The pool was... More

the hotel staff was very nice and helpful. Our room was clean and a nice view of the pool and surroundings. our first room the safe wasn't working properly and they moved us into a larger room with a view next door. There are some stairs walking to your room and the pool and breakfast area, but remember there are... More

Do you like shacks? Do you like to feel springs in a hard mattress? Are you willing to pay 89$ per night for said shack with vintage mattress? Then the Mandarina is for you. You won't be disappointed! (The place is very clean though and staff are trying their best to make up for the shabby rooms. Perhaps new management... More

This hotel is a true value for the area. The personnel at Hotel Mandarina are very friendly and helpful beginning with Lorena, Alexandria in the front desk to the ladies Esther and another lady (I'm sorry I don't recall her name) who manage the breakfast area. They are all very friendly and make sure you have a wonderful stay. I... More

This hotel sits on top of the hill but you have to go to the other side of the street in order to see the great views. Beware of where your room is the hotel reception is at street level but the rooms are built down the hill behind it. I was put in a room at the very bottom... More
