I highly recommend this hotel if you are going to costa rica. from my experience, costa rica's "luxury" hotels have good service and comfortable rooms, but most are lacking in style and cuisine quality compared to other resorts throughout the world. the gaia was an exception and it was a stylish, luxury hotel with fantastic food (by far the best... more

I stayed at Gaia for five nights and can say with certainty it is the most amazing place I have ever stayed at. Tucked into a lush, tranquil Costa Rican forest, it has views of the Pacific ocean and surrounding moutains. The restaurant has incredible food and live entertainment nightly. The room was more like a small apartment (with out... more

We did get a complimentary upgrade, and loved the upper deck and romantic outdoor lounge area of our 2 story room, not to mention the panoramic view. So worth it. At the time of booking I was thinking 5 days at Gaia and 5 at another lesser resort - but, the very personable rooms reservations lady at Gaia had other... more

This fabulous stop is all about smiles, service spoiling and luxury. The staff is attentive to every need, the rooms have gorgeous views and wonderful beds/bedding,bathrooms, the food is reasonable and yummy. The spa is professional and delightful- we tried different offerings and all were excellent. i can't rave enough about this place- We will go back in a heartbeat!... more

My husband and I booked a stay at Gaia after hearing rave reviews from our friends who had stayed here in 2008. We had a studio room looking out over the rainforest. The room was nicely decorated and modern, but as soon as we were shown the room, we noticed a large crack between the door and the ground. I... more

My boyfriend and I, together for 5 1/2 years, booked our first legitimate adult vacation and thought to go BIG! By big I mean mature, relaxing, and worth every penny. Right away we thought about going to central or south america. Costa Rica popped into our heads. It took us a while to decide which coast of the country we... more

Our 7 days at Gaia were the most outstanding days we had during our 18 days in Costa Rica! We first stumbled upon Gaia in 2007 and we had an absolutely perfect experience. In 2007, we were upgraded from a studio to a suite and every single thing about the room was luxurious and of the highest quality for both... more

We’ve been coming to Costa Rica and Manuel Antonio for many years, and stayed in many hotels – but WOW – our experience at the Gaia Hotel and Resort was like visiting for the first time. We arrived on a Friday afternoon and stayed for two wonderful nights. We thought we’d experienced all Manuel Antonio had to offer, but our... more

We spent four nights of our three week Costa Rican holiday at Gaia. We reserved our room through Bookit.com as they had a special promotional rate that guaranteed a one category upgrade. What a surprise to arrive at the Quepos airport to be greeted and picked up by the hotel's owner! We learned a lot about him, the hotel and... more

The management and staff at Gaia wish to thank our guest for taking the time to evaluate their stay with us. We are constantly striving to achieve excellence and this can only be accomplished with constructive advice such as this. Room 342 is indeed an Ocean View Studio and as such is smaller than our Suites and Deluxe Suites. We...

We have heard many good comments on the Gaia Hotel in Costa Rica and wanted to experience it ourselves for our honeymoon. Having traveled the world extensively in 5 star hotels, we wondered what made Gaia 5-star. Needless to say they deserve every star, if not more. The moment we stepped out of our transport van we were personally greeted... more
