Cabinas Espadilla is a very excellent location between the beach and the entrance to the national park (Both super close). This hotel has an advantage because it is quiet and secluded yet VERY close to the action in Manuel Antionio. The hotel doesn't have a resturant, but many are super close. They have little kitchenettes with all the stuff you... more

I just staid at Cabinas Espadillas with a group of my high school students. The place was very well kept and clean. The pool was very nice and its just a skip from the beach... There's an awesome restaurant on the corner called Marlin's that we loved. Also the rooms are very basic.. not the most comfortable bed but there... more

We just got back from a 5 night stay at Cabinas Espadilla. We loved this place! First of all, we are a couple in our mid-20's. We do not need luxury but we are definitely not budget travelers looking for the most basic accommodations. The cabinas espadilla was great! The location is unbeatable, the rooms are clean and the service... more

hotel is inexpensive, great location. Room itself is very basic, i didn't find it clean, bathroom was quite dirty and definetely needs refurbishment. Bedding was OK, quite clean. Kitchen is quite useless and dirty appliances so we never used it except the fridge. We difenitely liked reception guy Yafet who arranged couple tours for us and he was very helpful... more

I stayed here with my children ages 10, and 15. The location is wonderful. The pools are clean and well maintained. Rooms are small and very basic. There is a safe but you are charged a $40US deposit for a key. A towel to take to the beach requires another deposit. Rooms do not have a telephone or TV and... more

This was a great little place for the price ($64/night with tax) and access to the beach (3 min walk) and Manual Antonio National Park (10 min walk). Despite all the cons listed below, this place looked much nicer than others in the area at similar prices and I would stay here again if going to the park. Pros: Good... more

My friend and I stayed here due to great reviews on TripAdvisor, and we second those reviews! Cabinas had really lovely grounds and access to two great pools: the one at Cabinas Espadilla and the one across the street at Hotel Espadilla. The swim up bar at the hotel pool was a great plus, and the room was clean and... more

Stayed here for 3 nights with 3 friends. The room was tiny but clean. Had hot water, AC, a fridge, and our own small outdoor patio. The lovely pool was a nice change of pace from the salt water, but if you DID want the beach, it was a 3 minute walk down a nice path. The Park entrance was... more

We stayed at this hotel in May of 2007. The main reasons we chose this hotel - location and for the great reviews it had on Trip Advisor. We traveled with our two young sons (ages 3 & 6) and we wanted to be an easy walk from Manuel Antonio Park. The walk to the park was very easy, even... more
