I stayed in one of backpacker rooms above the restaurant. I expected rustic and charming. What I got was truly disgusting. We're talking chunks-of-feces-in-the-toilet disgusting. Ratty towels. Sand all over the bathroom. A roll of toilet paper with dirt on the end!!! Smells like a bus station. Filthy mirrors -- like 20 people had brushed their teeth before me. I'm... More

The Hotel is really good and the price is very acceptable. The rooms are comfortable and you are just in front of the beach and meters from the entrance to the "Manuel Antonio" Park. Do not hesitate staying here!

We stayed 5 nights at Hotel Manuel Antonio and were very pleased with our experience here. We could not have asked for a better location, since it is literally right across the street from the beach and the entrance to the National Park is in it's backyard. The beaches are very nice and only a bit rocky. If you get... More

This place is great!! The price was great - for two night stay in a double, we paid $185 including all taxes. The location is unbeatable - right across the street is a glorious beach straight out of a Hollywood film of paradise - white sand, turquoise water, palm trees, beautiful sunsets. We were astounded how nice this place was.... More

What a great place to stay! Our room was clean, well appointed and the rate was good. Location was fantastic. Right by the beach, walking distance to the Manuel Antonio Park. Near a bus station so easy to get around and go to restaurants.

Just left here after a stay of two nights. I made my reservation while in country via the iPod Touch I am carrying. This made it difficult to complete the reservation form that is commonly required here. But the staff here was quite patient with me as I fumbled around and made several last-minute changes.

We chose Manuel Antonio to stay at during our visit to Manuel Antonio due to its close proximity to the beach and national park. Whilst fairly expensive compared to other hotels during our stay in Costa Rica, we expected this given that the area is a main tourist destination. Our room was large and clean with a comfy bed and... More

...across the road to the beach WHAT MORE DO YOU NEED? Hotel was clean and cheap with polite staff - no thrills but when you have such an amazing natural scenery just steps from your room - priceless. We stayed 3 nights and would definately recommend to anyone looking for a simple accomodation (50$xnight).

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights during the summer of 2008. We arrived late at night but the receptionist was there to help us with our booking. The hotel is located on the street across the beach and one entrance to the park. The room are spacious, simple and very clean. They do not offer the breakfast in... More

Nice, friendly hotel with a perfect location for the beach. Staff was very friendly and helped us plan the rest of our trip. It's not particularly fancy, but it is a bit better than the usual basic hotels in Costa Rica. Had a great couple of nights here with my boyfriend.
