Introduction: I planned a family trip to Costa Rica last year for myself, my sister and our parents (Mom & Dad had never been on a foreign vacation before!). After much Trip Advisor searching and review reading, I decided to choose Hotel Costa Verde as our final resting spot in Manuel Antonio, and boy was I pleased! This place was... more

I stayed at this hotel while I was looking for a place to buy in Manuel Antonio. I was traveling by myself, so I didn't want to spend a lot on a room. Costa Verde had rooms for around $90USD, so I booked it. This hotel sits on a great spot in the middle of Manuel Antonio. Beautiful property. My... more

We split our vacation by staying 3 nights in Costa Verde , then moving to Costa Verde II for 3 more nights. Wished we had spent the entire time in Costa Verde II. Fantastic views were better than TV, fans and screens better than air conditioning, and our Studio Plus was more than twice as big as our Studio in... more

Just back from a 6 nights stay at Costa Verde II, screen room with ocean view. Everything was just great. The pool, the staff, the restaurants and the monkeys!!!. Compare to other hotels, CV2 is relatively close to the beach. Easy walk going down and a little bit strenuous walk back up. But we manage to do it twice a... more

We stayed in #7 and # 12. #7 was really nice and #12 was even better! Panoramic views. Jungle on one side, ocean and pool right in front of us. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and clean. It was great having the open screens as windows. We loved Manuel Antonio and would definitely return to... more

Spent 1 night at Costa Verde II. The ocean view was nice. The AC worked wonderfully. One of the more affordable places to stay at MA. Furniture and bathroom fixtures were old and dated. Close proximity to Manuel Antonio National Park. There is nothing like the sound of waking up to howler monkeys (in a good way!). Overall, a pleasant... more

I think the place is good overall. The staff is a bit snooty - and I'm not sure why. I had no real problems, but just didn't like the attitude. Good views, close to the park, restaurants are decent. The facilities are well maintained and clean. This was not my first time in CR and won't be my last -... more

We had a great time at Costa Verde II. We arrived after a full day of travel and were greeted by the hotel staff that was very friendly and helpful. They showed us to our room, which was located in the adults only section. We had room 14, which had a view of the ocean and the forest. GREAT ROOM!... more

We stayed in a studio plus. It had no air conditioning and just screens...but the fans and ocean breezes kept us comfortable. The view was truly panoramic and breathtaking. We stayed in Costa verde 2....room 12. Coming from snowy Wisconsin the heat and humidity took some getting used to, but there was a great pool just below our room to... more

My wife and I just returned from another great stay at the Costa Verde II hotel. We stayed in the penthouse which had some awesome views, We ate at all three of the hotels resturants which were all great. The La Catina BBQ which serves great food cooked over an open fire has a small band that plays nightly. The... more
