I just completed a wonderful one week stay at Mango Moon, what a paradise! Mango Moon is a small "boutique" hotel that accommodates primarily couples and older patrons. It's the kind of place you seek out if you are needing a relaxing, peaceful atmosphere with no worries. Situated in a beautiful tropical setting overlooking a serene ocean bay, this hotel... More

The staff was great however looking at the reviews it seems like the owner wasn't here during our visit. In addition it seems like the hotel can only do business when Diego is there. They other staff do not make drinks or handle payment. The hotel is for sale and it just seems that there is no investment being made... More

This hotel surpassed any expectations I had when visiting Costa Rica. Not only was the view from our hotel room absolutely beautiful and unheard of, the staff was very welcoming and made us feel at home. This hotel is smaller and quaint and made us feel as though we were in our own little Costa Rican Home/Paradise. They have a... More

While sitting in a pristine pool overlooking the native fauna and the crashing perfect body surfing waves, spider monkeys were eating bananas out of my hand. Clean air conditioned rooks with panoramic views of spectacular scenery. The staff was like your best friend making sure all needs were cared for. Restaurants, gyms, zip lines, beaches and Manual Antonio writhing walking... More

The view was absolutely amazing! We over looked the pool and the beach. Everyone was very accommodating and always made me and my friends feel very comfortable. The wildlife was very cool the monkeys frequently visited us. Definitely will be coming back.

We normally trust the market to set the right price. But market is failing the consumer here. We spent one night at the Mango Moon between Christmas and New year eve, after spending 4 nights at the nearby Makanda. Ironically, the latter was $80 cheaper and probably ten times better. We also visited other properties in the area which showed... More

Good: Really great view and nice beach access, simple tasty breakfast- off the main road so very quiet. Bad: the room is nothing to write home about (a/c not great, bed uncomfortable, couple of bugs running around) and the Internet was basically not functional 95% of the time. Prob wouldn't come back unless really on a budget.

The staff were amazing! Fresh fruit and breakfast available every morning with a view that will leave you speechless. Diego accommodated my group of 4 on multiple excursions and transportation(thank you!!) And Robert, awesome guy, showed us around the town and really exposed us to the Pura Vida lifestyle. We played with monkeys every day, hung out locally, hiked a... More

The hotel and staff are very accommodating and the view is breathtaking. I woke up every morning to breakfast and coffee and was able to enjoy my breakfast while looking out to the ocean. We were able to interact with monkeys and different types of wildlife, It was the most amazing experience! I recommend mango moon hotel to everyone traveling... More

This place has improved a lot recently. I visited once 6 months ago and it was too boisterous for me. And I avoided it because it had a reputation for loud music and rowdy crowds. My visits recently have been a completely different experience. The staff was was attentive and treated me like a friend, the restaurant was clean with... More
