Monteverde to Manuel Antonio. We check in at the Mango moon which was a cozy little hotel. A very well done up reception area with a bar and well laid out tables in the dining area. The room was small in size but comfortable. It was almost like a small studio but with an interesting decor. The cats in the... more

My wife and I spent 3 nights in Manuel Antonio and every day was awesome. we were so sad to leave. What Mango Moon is is a bed and breakfast in the middle of the wildlife action in MA... it's has a personal feel, great make to order food, and nice rooms.... here are some of the highlights: - Solid... more

The atmosphere is what makes this B&B so perfect. It was the perfect place to spend Thanksgiving, we felt like we were staying with old friends. Wild monkeys would dangle outside our bedroom balcony every morning as we sipped our coffee, so close I felt like I could touch them. The pool was clean and the views were spectacular. more

Mango Moon was, as promised by many other reviewers, a wonderful pick for our honeymoon. Because it's currently green season and the room had not been booked, we were upgraded to - what seemed to us to be the best room they had - a stunning room with a breathtaking view of the ocean from the patio--room seven. The staff... more

This hotel was everything it promised to be. It had a great view onto a private bay. Great cozy bedrooms with tv with american channels. Every morning we had a self-served breakfast buffet out on the terrazze where small monkeys came to visit. We highly recommend this beautiful bed & breakfast! more

Once you get over the levels of security here (gated entrances, dogs, security guards), it was quite a relaxing place to stay. Very impressive view, but a little claustrophobic after a while. We liked the relaxed atmosphere, the good sized bedroom, the two dogs, the secluded beach (10 mins down a steep track and not suitable for swimming but you'll... more

My husband and I recently stayed at the Mango Moon on our first trip to Costa Rica. I spent a fair amount of time researching different hotels in the area and am thrilled I choose the Mango Moon. The hotel itself is off the main road which means that it is quiet. The hotel was clean and homey. There is... more

Mango Moon has the most incredible view of the ocean. My husband and I stayed in the bottom floor Queen room with an ocean view for four nights. It was amazing to wake up in the morning and look out the window at such an incredible sight. We also had several close encounters with squirrel monkeys - they love the... more

we spent 3 days in MM - and enjoyed the amazing view, nice cosy and warm atmosphere, the excellent breakfast - and the almost daily view to the monkeys in the surrounding trees. All is very fine, and the kitchen for diner is first class, but price-wise more on the European than costa-rica price level - but still in the... more
