We had an extended family of 10 stay here for 4 nights. We were treated like family, loved the people, loved the pets that made us feel right at home, love the food!! Now we are all back in Texas missing Donna (owner), John, Diego, pets Paco and Kona (I might have missed this). Can't wait to get back!! Annette... more

We were 3 families (total of 9 people) traveling together. The rooms were spacious, the view of the bay amazing, the staff welcoming and friendly, the restaurant food very yummy. The hotel is beautifully decorated and the staff couldn't have made us feel more welcome. We loved staying and will definitely go back if we are ever in MA again. more

The view from this spot is incredible! Our hosts were friendly and helpful.... our room was charming and private (on the top floor). If you go, you will not be disappointed in any way. The food at dinner was superb and the bar is cozy and fun. The owners and staff take great pride in their home and share their... more

When I think of my stay at Hotel Mango Moon, I think about Goldilocks and the Three Bears. Everything was "just right." It wasn't too much or too little; it was just right. I will explain: I stayed there for 5 nights, and in my time there, I feel that I got a very accurate picture of how this intimate... more

Spent May 16 -23 at the Mango Moon in their upper queen suite with 2 bedrooms for 4 of us (myself, wife, 20 year old daughter and sister in law). It was simply fantastic ! Prior to the trip, Rebecca was kind enough to answer my numerous e-mails to help us plan our all activities. We were totally taken in... more

This is a hidden gem of the main road to Manuel Antonio with great food and sunset. The food was delicious - better than the place down the road (Makanda I think). Diego was very accommodating to cook a vegetarian meal for my husband. A walk downhill to the beach which is very quiet and a tico was there climbing... more

We only had the pleasure of staying at the Mango Moon for one night. Both Rebecca and Donna, the owners, were great people and very helpful. The view from our room was amazing. We had a sloth in the tree outside our door and numerous monkeys. Plus, we had an ocean view! The Mango Moon is very nice and I... more

We originally wanted to stay at La Posada for three nights because of the rave reviews I could read on Trip Advisor. The hotel was full our first night so we picked Mango Moon for a night. As with the rest of our trip, the hotel was far from being full. I requested a standard jungle room (the cheapest category)... more

We had our honeymoon at Mango Moon and were immediately starstruck by the amazing views. Rebecca and Donna, the owners, were warm and inviting and great sources of information about the surrounding area. We stayed for 6 nights and ate dinner there twice. Diego, the chef/jack of all trades, prepares amazing meals! John makes the best drinks in Manuel Antonio... more
