Loved It! Excellent value for what you get and much more friendly and intimate than a larger resort. Very private relaxing and romantic. Loved seeing the monkey's almost every morning swinging up the hill right past our HUGE balcony! The staff kept the room very clean and made wonderful creations with our clean towels. The front desk was exceptional, very... More

This was a great little place for what I thought was a great value. The property is a collection of villas, all with varying layouts, views and furnishings. Ours was a 1BR with a kitchen and a great terrace that had a gorgeous view of the jungle and the ocean. There are white-faced monkeys that come by every morning to... More

I just returned from vacation here. It was my first visit to Costa Rica and I was thoroughly impressed with the Villas Nicolas as my hotel choice. The property is within walking distance or a short bus ride to all of the best in Quepos. Each staff member was so helpful and pleasant. The bar area had good drinks, a... More

The Villas Nicolas is a great place. The rooms are clean, the area is quiet, and the view is great! I would strongly reccommend this hotel. The rooms are reasonable, and the owner is very friendly and helpful.

We just returned from our stay at Villas Nicholas. We had a grand time and the property was secluded and lovely. However, there is one issue that bothered me greatly. We were traveling with another couple and were encouraged to get a 'suite' - with one bedroom having a queen size bed and the other 2 doubles. A kitchen and... More

We thoroughly loved our stay at Villas Nicholas. You must get a villa higher up to have a view of the jungle and ocean. Incredible views, lovely little villas, and very friendly people. Such an economical way to stay in a great location within the park area. We were within walking distance to excellent restaurants (Agua Azul is one of... More

This was our home for three nights and we had a really pleasant stay. I think we were in Room 10 (type 3.) We didn't have much of a view except for the jungle, but we didn't mind too much. The walk up the stairs from our room was a good excercise especially with luggage! Our room was spacious, which... More

The views from the balconies are excellent. Watch for the sunset on the horizon, just gorgeous & romantic. The grounds are very nice. You will hear howler monkeys in the early AM, very tropical, very nice. Monkeys are everywhere on some mornings. The hotel is walking distance to several acceptable restaurants. We stayed in 3 up. One of the reasons... More

My husband and I spend our honeymoon at Villas Nicolas in Manuel Antonio from Jan 5--11th. We were placed in villa 7 Up, the "Honeymoon Suite", and it was perfect. We had a goregeous view of the jungle and the ocean from our balcony. The villa itself was perfect--tastefully decorated, comfortable, and quiet. Hot water was always available (a great... More

Villas Nicolas is a great spot to explore the Quepos/Manuel Anotonio area. This was a guys trip but would have perfect with a wife/girlfriend. Very clean rooms and bathrooms, friendly and helpful staff and majestic views of jungle/ocean. Clean pool and fun little bar area with great drinks and a terrific breakfast. Pina Coladas should not be missed. Walking distance... More
