Stayed here for a weekend during our summer trip. Staff was friendly and food was great. The view from our room was gorgeous and the place was hidden from noisy main street traffic. Bus route to the beach is just down a small hill. Best part was getting to see monkeys swing the mango trees out back. Perfectly place to... More

I'll start by saying we arrived at the hotel after dark. This hotel is located on a winding mountain road and it is very tough to see the turn in, even in the day time. Couple the narrow, not very well marked entrance with the dark of night and the arrival turns into a scary proposition. After confirming where it... More

We stayed here for 3 nights. We were the only occupants on one of those nights, which was kind of nice, except the bar/restaurant were closed one of the nights. The staff is extremely friendly and catered to our every need. Edgar was so wonderful, he is an excellent guide as well as a helpful resource at the front desk.... More

Good rooms, terrific views the staff are the best., the restraunt is second to none the view the food. Be prepared for wildlife like monkeys toocan bats. Close to all amenities. The only downside is its a little hard to find

A friend and I found ourself at Hotel California on the G adventure tour for 3 nights. The view from our room was incredible, especially to watch the sunset! Our room was clean, open and perfect to sleep in. The bed was comfortable and we didn't have any issues with our room at all. The food was fantastic! We ordered... More

My husband and I recently traveled to Costa Rica and stayed here for the first 3 nights of our trip. The hotel itself was hard to find, but then again we were driving at night in pouring rain (NOT a good idea!! LOL!!!). Our room was spacious and clean and what I enjoyed most was having a private entrance to... More

Many thanks for your kind words. I agree, Edgar is an amazing source of information regarding everything "animal" in the area! I am glad that you enjoyed your visit and glad that Edgar could make the park a special experience! Our goal here is to share the Costa Rican spirit of "Pura Vida" , warm friendly service that makes you... More

I recently stayed at Hotel California in Quepos. The Hotel rooms are nice with a great view. It's a 10 minute bus ride to to Manuel Antonio National Park. I was so so happy with the gentleman that works at the front desk at nights. He is so nice; and during the day we ran into him at the National... More

I understand that this is not a luxury hotel and we should not expect certain amenities BUT it's 3AM and we are still here scheduled to leave by 6AM after 2night stay...and unfortunately we are not sleeping in our room right now rather spending night by reception area with night guard because there are BATS IN OUR ROOM. I nearly... More

The hotel was not what we were expecting at all . It looks like it is in desperate need of a massive restoration. A few of the amenities did not work properly and no one came in to fix them during our stay. The pool is dirty and not very appealing. That being said, the staff is very nice and... More

We stayed here for four nights and if we could have left early we would have. The friendly staff is all it has going for it. The hotel is rundown and dirty and needs updates. Our toilet broke on the second night and was pouring water into the floor when you flushed and we told maintenance and no one ever... More
