We booked this hotel as we thought it would be a little bit of luxury in the jungle. It wasn't. The room was large and clean, but desperately needed decorating. The view was amazing and the little balcony was cute. The bathroom needed renovating. The pool area was nice, but looses the sun early. There were only 6 loungers available... More

If you ever have read any of my reviews on trip advisor you would know that I am very fair on my post. My wife and I have been blessed to travel a lot through the years, and owning two businesses of our own, I would never write a review of a business that was not fair or accurate. This... More

I stayed here for 3 nights in February 2014 and overall really enjoyed my stay. The owners were helpful and friendly, the breakfast is absolutely amazing, and the ocean room views and the pool are lovely. I stayed 2 nights in room 6 which was beautiful and quiet, and 1 night in the Treehouse Room which was unfortunately louder as... More

We stayed at La Colina for 5 days in Feb 2014. We stayed in two rooms: Room 2 at the front of the hotel and Room 6 up higher at the back of the hotel. The hotel is located in the middle of a HUGE hill on the main road that runs from Quepos to Manuel Antonio - this means... More

This place stinks. Both literally and figuratively. The rooms smells like a septic tank, the bed sucks, the rooms are SUPER dated, no locks on the windows, crappy lock on the door, small shower, paper thin walls. Spend another few bucks and get something better. You'll be happy you did.

I stayed here for 3 days in January and it wasn't quite what we expected. Here are the issues: 1. The wifi in the room was so slow that it wouldn't even load on my phone only on my friend's laptop. 2. I thought it was strange for a hotel to advertise having hot water until every shower I took... This is a great place for couples. The parking is safe, the rooms are clean, things like the shower, the TV, or the A/C work as expected. The pool is clean and cozy. The breakfast is amazing! The rooms at the top floor have an amazing view, worth the 87-steps climb. The staff is very friendly, they didn't even charge... More

The Owners and all the staff were amazing and ready to help at any moment. Rooms were very clean and the included breakfast was fantastic. Price for meals were very reasonably and tasted delicious. The owners went out of their way for my last dinner, my girlfriend ask for a lobster dinner and the owner went out of his way... More

But the steak house was amazing! Great personal service, big portions for the $ and the best fire grilled steaks we've had anywhere..owners should make a restaurant listing so they can get accolades for being such a great find! Thank you.

We had originally booked a room near the beach in Manuel Antonio, before checking in we looked at the room , the place was awful , stuffy little room with terrible beds and really noisy . So the search began and we stumbled upon La Colina . The place was amazing , friendly staff ,great food and great rooms .We... More
