Let's say this. The only think that I have appreciated of this place is their laundry service. I found the place not really well maintained. I would not go back and I would not suggest it. There are places in the area that certainly offer more at the same price.

Hotel La Colina is priced very competitively for Manuel Antonio, particularly when you consider that we offer a full breakfast and have Ocean Views. We also take great care and pride in the cleanliness of the hotel and service we provide to our customers. More

Probably the poorest quality hotel we have stayed in costa rica in the same price range. The service was pretty good, the staff was nice and the breakfast was good. We had the jungle view room. The room was stuffy and washroom is not in good shape. We did notice though the oceanview rooms were way nicer and bigger. But... More

We (2 adults and 2 teenage children) had high expectations after seeing the pictures and reading the reviews (thinking - how bad could it be?). So we booked a room for 4 nights during Cristmas break 2014 - what a mistake. We arrived at "Casa Pescador" their family "suite" and it was an immediate letdown. The room had not been... More

This type of guest is most common on this days than years before. We do not really understand the complain of somebody who pays only $124.30/night for a party of 4 people in the very peak season 25/12 - 29-12. Of course, the first problem that this guy had was that he did the reservation under two people only and... More

My wife and I went to La Colina for our Honeymoon, and we had such a fun time that we decided to stay two extra days. The owners and staff were very nice and gave us many recommendations on things to do and places to go. The pool/bar area was very nice as well - there are two small pools,... More

The place was small, but clean and safe, which ultimately in a hotel is all you're generally after. However, despite having a confirmed reservation, it took nearly 45 minutes to be checked in, because they'd lost the emails etc. and they had to find them to ensure we'd paid a deposit, even though I had them on my phone. I'm... More

My boyfriend and I booked two nights at La Colina for the beginning of our post-Bar Exam vacation, hoping to unwind after a summer of studying and testing. Unfortunately, our experience at La Colina proved more stress inducing than stress alleviating. We arrived on a Tuesday evening and were greeted by the most disinterested hotel employee. He showed us to... More

After leaving Tres Banderas across the street due to unclean sheets, I was only going to stay somewhere that I could first inspect. I was shown a clean room with a fantastic view at the top of the hotel. We were also given a discount for paying in cash. The breakfast is excellent, and the staff was extremely helpful. I... More

We booked this last minute. From the outside it looks like a nice hotel. The room was average in size with a double bed, tv, wardrobe and a small shower room. There were bugs everywhere, even in my bags! It was clean. Breakfast was included, local food and fruit. There was a pool, looked dirty. The town is small and... More

This is, without a doubt, the worst hotel I've ever seen. It's dirty, the beds are covered in stains and there are so many bugs. I killed 10 bugs in my 5 minute hotel stay. I checked out of the hotel and stayed at Il Diria. There were bugs everywhere. I have no idea where any of these pictures of... More
