We rented the Treehouse Room which consisted of two double beds and a single in one large room. The room looked old and dated, but was clean. The beds were hard, the road noise was horrible and kept us awake most of the night. The pools were murky and needed cleaning. The best part of our stay was the lovely... More

We rented what was advertised as a one bedroom condo and when addressing it not being so, were told that we were lucky to even get a room. We were given the Treehouse Room which consisted of two double beds and a single in one large room. The water in the room wasn't working but was eventually turned on. No... More

We reserved this hotel for one night through Air B&B, assuming it was a small private home or hotel. The reality was that it is a large old hotel that is not well maintained. The staff was very nice and helpful. However, the stairs to our room were covered with dirt and animal poop, and the pool had a large... More

Breakfast is not extended with early arrival and you also do no have the option of purchasing it. There were spiderwebs all around the room. The refrigerator in the room had an odor that smelled throughout the entire room. The beds springs are felt. The room appeared to have been vacant for a long time. The owner is a sweetheart... More

We arrived early to store our luggage and go to the park. We would check in later. We send an email and it was no problem. The first thing the young boy at the reception said was that it was to early to check in. The room was terrible. Dirty towel on the floor, towels on the hook instead on... More

Let's say this. The only think that I have appreciated of this place is their laundry service. I found the place not really well maintained. I would not go back and I would not suggest it. There are places in the area that certainly offer more at the same price.

Hotel La Colina is priced very competitively for Manuel Antonio, particularly when you consider that we offer a full breakfast and have Ocean Views. We also take great care and pride in the cleanliness of the hotel and service we provide to our customers. More

Probably the poorest quality hotel we have stayed in costa rica in the same price range. The service was pretty good, the staff was nice and the breakfast was good. We had the jungle view room. The room was stuffy and washroom is not in good shape. We did notice though the oceanview rooms were way nicer and bigger. But... More

We (2 adults and 2 teenage children) had high expectations after seeing the pictures and reading the reviews (thinking - how bad could it be?). So we booked a room for 4 nights during Cristmas break 2014 - what a mistake. We arrived at "Casa Pescador" their family "suite" and it was an immediate letdown. The room had not been... More

This type of guest is most common on this days than years before. We do not really understand the complain of somebody who pays only $124.30/night for a party of 4 people in the very peak season 25/12 - 29-12. Of course, the first problem that this guy had was that he did the reservation under two people only and... More

My wife and I went to La Colina for our Honeymoon, and we had such a fun time that we decided to stay two extra days. The owners and staff were very nice and gave us many recommendations on things to do and places to go. The pool/bar area was very nice as well - there are two small pools,... More
