This was the perfect hotel to be right in the heart of it all in Manuel Antonio. We stayed in a duplex with a full kitchen, 2 private patios with amazing ocean views, for the price of a tiny room in a nearby hotel. Great service as well! more

This villa had an amazing view from the open porch with a hammock on it. Clean and newer bed covers etc, fully stocked kitchen in our unit. We saw tons of wildlife from the porch, staff was pleasant and maids cleaned the room daily. Unfortunately though it did not come with breakfast. more

You stay here for the view. we stayed in Unit B Bella vista at the Hotel Villas El Parque. The front desk concierge , Henry, helped us doing a lot of things. like finding us a guide for our hike through M.A. and setting up the zip line canopy tour for us as well. The beds were comfortable and clean.... more

We stayed at Villa el Parque during the Easter Holiday weekend, spent a few days in other parts of the country, then returned for a finish at the beach. My wife and three teen age children and I were in Costa Rica for the first time. The view is as good as advertised, and we had the addition of seeing monkeys... more

Obviously, you can tell by the title that our stay this year was awful. However, we stayed at this same hotel in 2007 and had a wonderful time. So I'll contrast both experiences, and hopefully you'll learn what you need to know to get the most from this hotel, and not have the same experience we had. First, Villas el... more

The best thing about this place is the location, the view and that private terraces. We were lucky enough to get a room that didnt require walking up and down at least 50 stairs. The room was very plain, not much better than a cheap MOTEL. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and thankfully I brought my own pillow. The bed... more

My girlfriend and I stayed here in February 2006 during a 3.5 week tour of Costa Rica. To put things in perspective most of the places we stayed throughout the country were more or less backpacker type places (cheap hotel, not hostel). So while it was not a 5* experience we may have been overly impressed in comparison to previous... more

My tan shirt was brown from perspiration when I was taken to my room. Looked in the refrigerator for ice and found none because it was just turned on. I asked where the ice machine was and told they don't have one. Seeing that I was very upset , the young man who brought me to the room, said he... more

I got a lower junior suite. The bed may as well have been from a garbage dump and the air conditioner was so loud it sounded like a giant kitchen timer about to explode. The shower drained slowly. The staff was nice. The pool was nothing special, especially compared to the one across the street at Kekoldi which was beautiful.... more

We stayed In Villas Parque and for the most part it was really nice. Romms were spacious, had a Kitchen , great views and A NOISEY A/C PLace is on the "worn" side Not safe or secure area to hide valuable. No problems but each time we left we had to hide our money, etc in creative places Staff was... more
