During trip in Costa Rica, we didn't plan to book any hotel in advance, and lucky us, when we bombed into Hotel Banderas, they still had one room left. The staffs are really helpful, and friendly, gave us quite a lot of tips for travelling. Also, the food in restaurant are amazingly good, you definitely need to try out all... More

If you plan to visit the Manuel Antonio National Park, this is the place to be . It is located on the main road to the park. However, being in an inside domain, it is very quiet. It is also 5 minutes driving to Quepos which is the main town close to the park. The management is very attentive to... More

Great place to stay. We had a group of almost 30 friends with both kids and adults on the trip. The pool was a great place for kids to play and the restaurant/bar area was a great hangout spot for the adults. The hotel helped arrange multiple different activities for our group since not everyone wanted to do the same... More

Everything was good and worth the price except for the following: We were using the Jacuzzi and were of course buying drinks from their bar, having a great time, not being loud, just a good time. Around 7pm or so the owner asked us to leave the jacuzzi because since it is located in the restaurant area, they didn't want... More

My girlfriend and I spent three nights in one of the private cabins the other side of the pool from the main hotel rooms. Our room was spacious and clean with a decent sized shower, a nice large bed and most importantly air conditioning! The pool was ideal to cool off in after a long day exploring in the sun... More

While not a show stopper - this place gives you what you pay for. We didn't want to break the bank - and that would be pretty easy to do in the Quepos/Manuel Antonio area. Sure, there are nicer hotels - but they wanted an arm and a leg. Tres Banderas was exactly what we expected for what we paid.... More

too old, the service wasn't really good. we stayed for a day and we just wanted to leave... really expensive for an old place. however the room was clean, and they gave us many towels. the tv service was working at all.

This hotel is small and quaint. There are probably 20 rooms or so. But never felt crowded. Pool area is great. The restaurant on premises has the best Italian Food ever. (Food is pricey, but worth it). Staying in this hotel made you feel emerged in the culture and not just a tourist.
