Booked 6 beachfront rooms and they kindly gave us rooms side by each on the first floor, beachfront. Great location to the beach and only a walk away from the entrance to Manual Antonio. The front staff was great at check in, but left only one staff there during check-out rush hour. The room was quite large, and the patio... More

Hotel is nicely situated near the beach. We had a superior room close to the beach, 3 rd floor. These rooms are newly decorated and they are really fine. Beds are big and comfy, airco works well, view is nice. The pool is small but ok, and the beach is really close by. The hotel offers chairs to take to... More

It's just a good place. We stayed in a deluxe room, with terrasse and pool views, and payed A LOT FOR THAT. The room was correct (very good space and terrace) but when you think in how much are you paying, you feel that it's not worth. If it would have been a little bit cheapper, then you rate it... More

Trip Advisor rocks! Here is why - when you read reviews you can figure out what rooms will suit you. I was lucky enough to get a beach front room top floor. Ask for these rooms. It is worth it! Very clean and easy access to the restaurant and beach. We ate at the restaurant the first night and the... More

Have been staying at Karahe on a regualr basis since 2011 with my wife and daughter now 6. The beach side rooms are great and the garden they look out onto is a real tranquil paradise, the small pool is lovely and you can walk right onto the beach and it is then a 5 min walk into to town,so if... The first time I visited Karahe was in 1988 and I've been coming back almost yearly ever since. In fact, I never seek to stay anywhere else when in Manuel Antonio because there is no need to. It's reasonably priced. Its location is supreme and one of the best for entrance to the park. The pool is crystal clean. Rooms... More

Before booking a room here just make sure you know what you are getting into! In order to get to our room (bungalows), we literally had to climb 93 steep concrete steps in the dark!! My travel mates were carrying 65 pound backpacks!! Once we got to our rooms, we had to go back down to get food and to... More

Manuel Antonio has a host of good hotels, but few are right on the water. To get to the beach, clients at most places have a five to ten minute walk...or a shuttle ,if they're lucky. However,we just revisited the Karahe after a few years absence and were pleasantly surprised to find that they now boast thirty brand new rooms which are... More

Stayed over holiday weekend and to my surprise the hotel had the best BeachFront! Great For familys. The Peruvian restaurant was another surprise. True to its core. Fresh and delicious. They need moré lounge chairs on the beach but i heard it was in the works.

This place is great! You have two options on where to stay so keep this in mind when choosing...the villas on the "hill side" are a pretty steep hike up. Especially the ones at the very top. If you choose to book these you should ask for a lower one unless you are able to climb pretty far up concrete... More
